Nice ocean front hotel stay

We couldn’t have a room that we reserved at booking time. I don’t know why but they gave us a similar room. Hotel location is very good.

No elevator. Steep stairs. In the middle of everything. Great spot. Garage parking for a fee one block away. Directly across the street from pier, beach. Mattresses ok. Rooms/building clean. No hot water on morning of check out. Otherwise good.

5th floor one problem, roof people put the funny foam and water just stays everywhere. Easy, wear no shoes so your socks get saved, other than that EVERYTHING was awesome!!!

The Casa Del Sol was very, very basic but nice. Cell phone service was not available in the room and the noise level was high and not soundproof. The addition of a microwave would've made my stay more convenient

This place is great for a simple room with a view! A little outdated but still super cute. Customer Service was fantastic! Its a really old building so drains smell a little funky every once in a while, but overall it is a nice place to stay for the price.

They sold are Casa Tropicana room (even though we paid in advance) and put us on the ground floor of the Sea Horse Hotel in a room that opened onto the sidewalk and people would walk into because they thought it was a store. Keep your doors locked if this happens to you! Staff offered a discount but it was fake we learned five days later once they realized money had already been paid through Expedia. After 14 years of every year, never again. These new staff/owners are deceptive at best and we are now pursuing restitution for never receiving the suite we were charged for.
