Great stay in a cute little home. Owner made everything convenient. Was a little noisy at night and the mosquitos bit a little bit but we had a great time all in all.

I had a terrible stay at the property. The property lost power while we were out to dinner. I got back to our room found out there is no power and called property manager but she did not pick up the phone. Only text me back via WhatsApp stated there is power outage and only a few houses got affected and she did not know when the power will be back up. I asked her for alternative plan but no response. It is not & humid, we cannot stay in the room. She did not even offer any apology for inconvenience. Just plain ignore the whole situation. At 8:00pm the power got restored, no apology offered. I can’t imagine anyone going on vacation without electricity for a bit more than 2 hours in hot & humid Galapagos, Ecuador. So, stay away from this property.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Clean, friendly, and comfortable don’t even begin to describe it. Easy walking distance to everything. You really can’t beat this place in San Cristobal. The staff really sets this place apart- when a cab I set up for myself didn’t show up to take me to the airport, the front desk staff dropped everything they were doing and ran out into the street to flag a cab down for me. I also forgot my AirPods and a portable charger in the room, I sent a message to the hotel when I realized expecting to be disappointed. THEY GOT THEM BACK TO ME ALL THE WAY IN THE UNITED STATES AT NO CHARGE. YOU CAN’T EVEN MAIL THINGS DIRECTLY FROM THERE TO HERE. These are honest, hardworking, dedicated people running this hotel and it shows.

The location is perfect (ocean front) but it does get a bit loud in the evening until about midnight as there’s a bar right across the street. The rooms are clean and spacious. The A/C works perfectly. The breakfast is okay, nothing too special. The fruit wasn’t fresh and smoothie was watered down. The first 2 mornings we got the breakfast to go which was white bread with mayonnaise and a half a thin slice of ham and cheese, a juice box and an apple. A fresh pastry and I guess a juice box would have been better. Great there in this option but not what we expected. Would we stay here again? It’s a bit pricey compared to other options and we were hardly in the room so probably not. Service was good. We left a charger and they returned it. They’re also responsive on WhatsApp.
