We were only there 20 minutes and checked out to go somewhere else. We had a room with 3 beds, and I found hair in all three. Everything was dusty, and the tp was left over from the guests before. The parking lot is little more than an ally- there was someone trying to get into my car window. Conveniently located if you're in town for the nude bars, however.

Simplicity at it's finest. Not much to look at or walk around since it is a small area but if your looking for a place with friendly staff & good distance from a lot of places then is a good spot. After checking out, my didn't want to start & I asked if they had a microwave I could use while waiting for AAA & they allowed me to check back in while I waited. If I'm ever in that area again, I'll go there again. Highly recommend for small families or couples.

I realize it's the middle of October but the average daily temperature was in the mid 70s and the pool was not heated clean but icy cold. The room was clean, but poorly appointed. I have never seen a motel, but did not have a towel rack in the bathroom. The toilet looked like it came from an elementary school. It was so small and low of the floor, and every electric outlet in the room was taken up by something important like the television or the microwave and the refrigerator leaving almost nowhere to plug in your phone or other devices . The picture displayed on Expedia is definitely not representative representative of your first impression of the property. It's taken from the backside across the street and up the block. The best view of the entire place the view when you pull up in front would give you an impression that gosh, I don't want to stay here. . Staff was definitely helpful and friendly. I must say that for them, but that is about all I could really say positive about the place.

We went to visit daughter in San Diego. Stayed here for 3 nights. Clean. Would have been nice to have another lamp for both sides of bed. Dark inside. It was so close to everything we wanted to do. Great dining across the street!

Only stayed here because it was last minute close to airport due to a 12hr layover. No ac in the room so it was hot! Very old and scary looking room. Staff was nice and helpful.
