A wonderful stay at the Bay Club on Shelter island! The view from the marina room is excellent! I got tea in the am and the nice lady named Miriam, I believe, helped me walk it up to our room!

Under construction

This hotel is currently under construction (they sent us a message before hand, so we were aware). Wait until construction is completed. It’s very dated and has an old musky smell in the rooms. You can’t beat the beautiful views, but it’s overshadowed by the current condition! I hope they upgrade to a nicer newer design. The front desk staff was not too friendly, but the other staff we met were very nice and friendly.

Property is under construction so there is only 1 elevator working, no restaurant. Would have booked somewhere else if I knew up front. That being said there was no noise from the construction. The room was large & comfortable but needed more renovation
