The staff was very nice and accommodating. The food is pretty good at the restaurant and reasonably priced for both adults and kids. The view from the pool/hot tub is pretty, especially at night. Rooms are a little beat up.

The hotel room was nice. The check in and check out was fine. We went to the hotel restaurant everyday for breakfast. The food and service was great. The view from the room was amazing. Why not five stars? The hotel is next door to a concert hall. The noise from the concerts made it difficult to sleep. We called the front desk. We were told the concert would be over at 1030. If I return to San Diego, I would probably stay somewhere else.

The property is old. When we got inside the room an old library-smell like greeted us. We could hear the people upstairs walking and sometimes running. There were grain of sands under the pillow. The pillows were uncomfortable. Not a good experience for my family. Good thing we were only here for a night. It wasn’t worth the money. This place needs a total upgrade.
