Due to my partner's illness (Alzheimer's) I had to cancel my reservation after the deadline of the 21st. Following Expedia's online instructions I called the Bay Club and cancelled on the 23rd and agreed to the cancellation charge of the1st night rate and taxes. We wanted to participate in the Hubbell ceremony and experience your hotel. Hopefully another time.

It was a convenient place to stay, but after paying for the stay, we found out it was $18.00 to park there too per day. California is an ok place, but we wouldn't want to live there.

Great location and friendly staff. The building is a bit tired, and a bunch of the doors looked like someone took a hack saw to the bottom (not clean cuts) the bathroom door was delaminating because of it. Beds were ok, but the pull out needed a refresh as it was very noisy and sagged.

Amazing views
This was my 3rd or 4th time staying at the Bay Club and it never disappoints. Location on Shelter Island is great with fantastic views of either the harbor or marina, quiet at night and walking distance to restaurants. Staff is amazing, especially John the bartender.
