There were ants in our room. First night was ok, but it was really loud for the rest of the trip with the people upstairs running and jumping after 9PM until probably 10ish PM. On our second day, plumber forgot to turn on the water for our room and the front desk told us to use the sink to shower after a long day at SeaWorld. Not sure how people do it, I wish she could have come to the room and showed us how. As others mentioned in the reviews, there are lots of stain on the carpets. We won't be coming back here.

The rooms were EXTREMELY musty smelling. I could not stay at the property because of my asthma. That is how strong it was . Property does not look as nice as pictures.

Completely unacceptable and horrible experience
This was the most unacceptable experience I have ever had. This falls both on Best Western and Hotels.com. My workers sat in the lobby for over 5 hours (Yes that is right 5 hours) waiting to check in. First I contact Best Western asking them why my worker could not check in. The rude desk clerk said I needed to contact Hotels.com. I did just that. And was told that every thing was taken care of and that my worker would be able to check in. Forty-five minutes go by and I get a call that they still have not been able to check in. I contact Hotels.com yet again and was told that it would be taken care of. Again another 45 minutes goes by and still they are sitting in the lobby. Call back Hotels.com for assistance, I sat on hold for more than 30 minutes. At this point my workers have been sitting in the lobby for over three hours. I call back a third time to try to resolve the issue and you guessed it. I was put on hold for another 25 minutes. So I hung up thinking that I was forgotten about. Finally I called back one more time. At this point my workers have been sitting in the lobby for over 5 hours. Thought I would try one more time to get this situation resolved. NO could not get it done. Finally I told my workers to pack it up. I called a La Quinta hotel at 11:15 pm. I made reservations for them there. And guess what. All went smoothly. I have been a customer with Hotels.com for many years. Last time I will use them and I will never use Best Western.

Very clean place to stay, quiet and great service at breakfast. Only 10-15 mins away from SeaWorld, La Jolla beach and San Diego Zoo. Parking lot very crowded over the weekends.

It was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. Conveniently located with restaurants, gas stations, and next to the I-15 on ramps making it easy to go on the freeway, yet did not hear freeway traffic at all. I will stay again.

When I checked in the receptionist was nice she took her time to explain things to me. However, when is time for to check out there was man at the desk he wasn’t nice at all. He’s very unprofessional. But I understand sometimes people wakes up the wrong side of the be and go to work with the same attitude. It’s ok but my family did enjoyed the place.
