4-star stay at Comfort Inn

Firstly, this was a good two-day stay in a clean room w friendly staff. The location is across the street from a Winchell's and coffee shop, down the street from a grocery store, Denny's and McDonald's which all allow you to save money on food. And the motel is next to the harbor for beautiful views when you leave your room and walk around. Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She was accommodating and let me know when exactly to check in because I showed up to the room early. She also works really hard, because she was also cleaning and sweeping the beautiful floor tiles of the hallways as well. The room is comparable to staying in a well lived bedroom w wood classic furniture. My room had a comfy King-sized bed which was clean; and I checked for NO bugs. The bathroom was clean w a big shower, but overall tight space. The room smelled nice like men's cologne when I walked in. There was a fridge and micro in the room. I will be honest and admit the tv had no working signal but I didn't use it anyway. The heater and AC worked well. Overall I enjoyed my quick stay, and was happy w my room. 4 stars.

Great location. Right across from the water. Walking distance to all the restaurants. Great spot for a weekend getaway. Definitely coming back. Having breakfast at the hotel was a huge bonus and it was better than most.

The pictures online are very deceptive, you can not see the water from any room, the room and beds are very worn out, bathroom very small. The room we were in the door was not secure. We were told to continue to use the same bath towels for the days we were there (not) we got housekeeping to give us some fresh ones. We were charged an extra $3 for 2 washcloths the reason they said they were stained when 2 of the towels given to us had holes!!!! We will not stay again. No Thank you and for what we paid, No Bueno!!!!

Just okay, but will not stay again

Was not expecting a motel (all the rooms opened to the parking lot). The parking lot did not appear to be striped to code as at one point I had to back up and straighten out several time just to get between the rows of cars without causing damage. It was not worth the extra $10 you had to pay for parking. Breakfast was just okay and the dining area was very small. I was initially concerned about the level of road noise as the rooms were less than 75' from a very busy road, but the insulation worked fairly well to dampen the noise. The room was fine (bed was comfortable and furniture seemed to be in good condition), but you could see the hinges on the bathroom door were rusted and needed replacing.

THE PICTURES ONLINE ARE NOT OF ACTUAL HOTEL!!! This was one of the worst hotel stays. I was surprised when I first walked into the room because it looks nothing like what is advertised but was okay with it at first. Then I noticed that there was gunk caked all over the sink faucet , cigaret burns in the bed sheets, dust and hair on the hair dryer, and at one point they ran out of towels and washcloths to give us. The towels and wash clothes they did give us never seemed that clean and one even had a weird orange stain. I had recently stayed at a comfort inn in another state and really enjoyed my stay but this was horrible and I literally had to push through the gross feeling to avoid spending thousands somewhere else.
