Either the website or the Hotel should make it clear ahead of time that there will be an additional fee of $20 per night to park in the Hotel parking lot. This was a surprise to me and unfortunately took away from my budget for the trip.

They charge you for parking. They have a very high deposit. The elevator was broken. And the lady at the front desk was very rude. I think it was the manager, thank goodness that the other employee had some type of common sense, and some type of decency and customer service will never book again due to the lady at the front desk.

Good for a budget stay
Overall it was an OK stay. The front desk person when we checked was really friendly and helpful. This is the reason for the 4 stars. Future travelers should know that its is an older property but that too is not the issue. It has been well kept, the location is awesome. I had two issues with the stay. One is that the sheets were not clean. They were washed, but had small old stains just from use, but still not what I want to see. The lighting fixtures had dust buildup which means that the room has not been deep cleaned recently. The carpet is dark to hide stains, so don't know how well kept it is. The other issue I had was the mattress quality. After a long day with kids running around, I would really like a nice sleep and the mattress was so springy that an movement from the other person was enough to disturb my sleep. I would stay there again since I like the price, the location, the friendliness of the staff. But you should know what you are getting.
