the front desk is not available 24/7
This hotel is run down type. The toilet flush is terrible , you need to hold the toilet flusher all the way down before it flush. There is only one chair in the room for dining table and study table . There is no dining room for breakfast. Tey give you a bento box for breakfast. The front desk is not open 24/7 if you need something. Also, they hotel charge you $20 for vehicle parking. (This is NOT disclosed in hotel.com)

This hotel met my needs, front desk was respectful, hotel is close to public transportation, food and bus line 992 that goes straight to the airport. The only downside is if you get loud neighbors next door your room,it will be loud. Having said so,i would stay here again because the price met my budget.

Woke up at 6:30 and made coffee with the provided coffee maker. It tripped the breaker swith for all the outlets. Was told it would be fixed at 9:00, 11:00, its still not fixed.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I rent two rooms for my employees. They arrived at the hotel to find people shooting up drugs in the parking lot, transients everywhere, and the whole place smelled of urine and feces. The rooms were disgusting!! They couldn't stay there. I had them leave and checkout with the front desk. I had Expedia call the hotel to get a refund. They must have called a dozen times after there was no answer and/or they just got hung up on. After a week of trying to get in touch with a manager, they said they would not refund anything. If you value your health and safety, do not stay here. I would recommend that Expedia take this listing off of their choices as it is not safe to stay there.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!
It was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed by far. Unfortunately we arrived at midnight so trying to find another place to stay that night proved impossible - I tried for about two hours!! We checked out first thing in the morning and cancelled the two nights we had left. The room and property, there was peeling paint, I was gagging from the disgusting bathroom. Needles to say we slept in our clothes and didn’t shower. Do not stay here!!!

Avoid this Hotel
This place is the hotel of last resort in Downtown San Diego. It’s run-down and makes no apologies about it. The room was dark and musty, the toilet was leaking water on the bathroom floor, the toilet seat would not stay up on it’s own, the shower water handle came off when I turned it, there’s a large gap in the room door letting in plenty of street noise, including the guys smoking pot on the corner every evening. Homeless congregate there. There was no art on the walls, but the hangers were still attached to the wall. The drapes were dirty. There were spider nests above the bed (no spiders, just the nests), bathroom walls showed visible signs of water damage. Cigarette burns in the wood furniture. The safe probably worked but is so old it requires a physical key. The vanity mirror was hung low so I couldn’t see the top of my head when standing and then was still hard to see because the lights were also installed low (I’m 5’11”). For the year 2024, there was a serious lack of electrical outlets, particularly near the bed. I had to move the light stand to get to the one outlet next to the bed. The bed was ok, the blanket (no comforter here) was scratchy but at least the sheets appeared clean. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It had a serial killer vibe.

The staff were kind and helpful, but upon entering guest services, there was a strong chemical smell that triggered my daughter’s asthma. The room had a similar moldy odor, with outdated, uncomfortable furniture and visible mold in the bathroom. Thankfully, the guest agent understood our situation and assisted with a refund.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The room and elevator were not. Parts of the elevator looked broken, it’s super small, I don’t think it’s ADA compliant. The room had cracks on the wall, no usb outlets to charge your phones. Honestly, this was not worth the over $300 we paid.
