The facilities were okay but our room was not clean on arrival. Over six nights, we had house keeping once, and only because we asked for it at the desk. The cleaner arrived as we were leaving and asked what we wanted. We said we wanted the room cleaned and she asked, “like what?” She swept the floor and that was it. The AC didn’t work, making the room very stuffy. We requested it fixed and it never was. The hallway carpet was dirty. The pool and surrounding area was nice but I wonder how clean the water was. The parking fee of $28 per night was ridiculous for an open, unsecured lot. This hotel was a disappointment.

Perfect location for a day at the racetrack. Sean at the bar was a great host as we watched the Dodgers beat the Padres as we ate a tasty Del Mar Burger.

I liked the service from staff. What I thought they needed help with is having someone maintaining the towels at the pool area. Also they need someone maintaining the pool water as it was full of leaves and stuff from the trees. One other improvement is that they need to put the door entrance to the pool area in a different location so that guests don't have to exit the pool gate and get their food and drinks from the restaurant on site and make sure that they have they're room key so that they can reenter the pool area.

Modern and clean rooms facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Heck someone even brought me a towel out to the pool. Huge plaza down the street for shopping and good food. Close to Del Mar and Torrey Pines....all at a steal of a price. First time in Cali and would stat again of ever back in the area

Very nice. Nicer than what I expected for a 3-star hotel. Very quiet and convenient, right off the freeway but without the freeway noise. Close to plenty of eating areas. Close to the beach. Very friendly staff, and our room was refreshed daily with clean towels.

We only stayed for one night traveling with 2 kids. One issue had was the A/C panel (weighing about 30pounds) fell off the wall and landed on my son. It had not been secured on the wall or was broken. Second, the shower or pipes leaked through the walls and the carpet by the bed was soaked and wet. Front desk in the morning apparently comped the parking charge of $28 for the trouble. Frankly, hospitality should have comped our entire stay for 1 night. Ridiculous.
