4 outta 5 good deal tho
TLDR: staff dropped a major ball but over all would stay here again. Moar: Chose this cuz a deal on hotels dot com (… Everybody go "Hotel, motel, whatcha gonna do today? Say what?) Would have been 5, but when I walked into my room, the house keeping didn't get to it. There was PF Chang leftover and a smell of dude cologne in the air. Bed looked like a kid had just gotten up and jumped out. They had a tip for house keeping on the desk Housekeeping said let the front desk know, the house keeping lady came and checked my room, grabbed the money and said "Talk to the front desk." Front desk got me a new room, clean and that was it. Breakfast is standard, oatmeal, factory cheese omelet, kirkland ish turkey sausage patties, 4 types of cereal, the waffle station, apple and orange fruit stand, juice bar, coffee station, and people standing around with analysis paralysis or too many options to choose. Entertainment in the room was meh. THey have you sign in on your netflix, Max, Disney (Dismal for SW fans) etc. THey had Tubi which was free movies from 80's - early 2k. So that offset it. Kinda wish they did the airline thang with a whole set of movies / shows but more selection since its ground based and not flying (the not so) friendly skies. Anyway, stay here 4 central SD action, enjoy mission valley and SD . . . Con is freeway is jumping distance (kinda) so if you get freeway side rooms (lower # so like 2nd floor its 201-205 etc), you hear traffic noise

Check in was easy. Breakfast options were good. Adequate parking. There was a blood stain on one of pillows,gross. The room is in desperate need of a remodel. I expected a lot better for the price. You might want to check out other hotels in the area.

Room needs repair
The 3 star review was due to several issues. My first room TV didn't work so I had to change rooms because it couldn't be fixed. Second room one bedside lamp was falling apart and didn't work even after I tried different bulbs, showerhead fell apart when I tried to adjust water stream, sheer at the window had a 2 foot tear, there was rust around the bathroom door. Things need to be spruced up! Lobby, convenience store were nice. Check in was quick efficient.

Comfortable stay
Hotel room was spacious yet cozy and had a very comfortable bed.The hotel lobby was clean and had a nice layout. It was easy to get around the hotel. The complementary breakfast was very delicious!!
