The staff was very kind and considerate. My flight was delayed so I arrived close to 1am. The office closes at midnight but a clerk had stayed there waiting for me to arrive so as to assure I could get checked in. The hotel itself is an older building but my room had been nicely renovated and was very clean. Kudos to the clerk and housekeeping. Overall excellent value and I'd happily stay here again.

Maybe afer an update...

Unfortunitly our room may have been the worst on the site. Suite,1 Queen Bed with Sofa bed,Kitchenette (Rm 107). Stained sheets, dirty couch, counter with large gap for water to get under formica hidin possible mold. the bathrooom fan vent completely clogged with packed dust. Behind clogged fan grate was an abundance of mold. Baked on food on stove top, (Razor could remove), Smaller refrigerator that advertised in photos for room type, I understand it is an "Affordable" option for the Point Loma area, but some invesment needs to be mde back into the units or update the photos. The shower head and shower were good. We chose only to stay for 1 of our 3-night reservation. with Managers approval Hotels.com will refund the unused nights. At this point not resolution. They did reimberse the $10 parking fee for the one night we did stay. The gentleman at check-in desk was exceptionally pleasnt and a pleasure to work with.

There was no hot water. Not when I checked in, and not when I checked out. For my entire stay, I was without hot water. And all the attendant offered me in the way of compensation is a free $10 overnight parking permit. Worst experience ever.

Overall a good stay. Needed to get to the airport early the next day so we looked for the cheapest place to stay the night. We had a parking spot, but parking was first come first serve. The room has a weird smell but it wasn't a deal breaker

Super clean and updated old school motel. GREAT location with lots that is easy to walk to. Very nice staff. Fantastic value compared to the bigger chains that were nearby. Again- the location is so easy to walk to Shelter Island and all of those beautiful vistas. Spent 2 nights and never heard a peep from anything.
