We go there every year for our anniversary, and they always give us a free Bottle of Wine and 15% off at the Restaurant. The Black Lady the front Desk was not very social and didn't offer anything. Save for a trip and get let down... Thinking of going back after school starts. We drive 3 hours to San Diego.

Love this place so much we have an upcoming trip to stay for the 3rd time this year. Feels very tropical and like you are on vacation. We did the nearby San Diego Sailboat trip and we love the nearby restaurants.

Wonderful hidden gem. Felt like I was in Hawaii or some tropical island. Customer service was superb! We had gotten a jr. suite room and when we first entered, although the room size was great and although it was mostly clean, there were still some spots that were missed on the floor and bathroom such as pieces of cereal and maybe two pieces of hair. It wasn’t too big of a deal as I understand that housekeeping can be a very tough job to do especially in a large hotel like that, but I decided to just mention it to the front desk. I spoke to Maria, who was very kind and amazing. She immediately apologized and got us another room. To our surprise, she booked us into a bigger room! Thank you Maria! You definitely deserve a raise and an excellent employee rating from your management! And thank you to housekeeping for your hard work!

The bed was amazing! The view was gorgeous,especially at sunset. You wouldn't want the same room if a concert was happening ...unless you liked the artist! Then it would be great! But the other rooms and outlooks were lovely too

While the garden and pool area were pretty and a fun setting, and the room itself was nice and comfortable, we would have liked to know ahead of time that the hotel has an outdoor concert/event venue that was right outside our room, so close we could see the performers on the stage by sitting out on our balcony. Both nights of our stay there were loud events going on (one until 10:30pm) that we could clearly hear even with the door closed. It would be helpful to let guests know about the venue/events before their stay, as we were expecting a quiet relaxing room and unfortunately didn’t have that in the evenings. I would encourage others to check with the hotel for events schedule before booking and would recommend the hotel make this clearer to guests, especially those staying right next to this venue.
