We stayed one night as a spontaneous extended vacation. We usually book in the area but this was our first time booking this hotel. The room was super cozy and small perfect for 2 adults and 2 small children. We traveled with two other adults and it was a bit small for us. Not bad for one night trip. Pretty clean but water pressure sucked. Great location and access to restaurants and beach.

Basic room amenities, great location . But the staff are rude , was going to walk in for reservations but the front desk lady was being rude and not accommodating . Yes we stayed in for 2 nights and yes we were a customer , felt discriminated because when another guest was checking in , the lady was so friendly and helpful to the other guest, just a wow how i was treated differently . I never felt discriminated , was just asking to reserve but she was unhelpful and decided to book with expedia. Also our wifi didnt work for our entire stay, reported the problem during the first day and the following day and no solution was given . They were trying to blame our devices. I have the new iphone 17 pro max , so the problem should be with the wifi itself , not our devices. I even showed them my phone with the wifi being connected but loading nothing.

Make sure to ask Joe to turn the lights on in the unit, as it requires a room key to activate lighting. The phone connectivity in the room is very limited due to building type construction. The property WiFi is on the poor side, so if you need internet or phone service, you’ll have to step outside to the front of the property. This is with Verizon or T Mobile service. The porch light that activates at dusk and stays on until sunrise is located directly outside the window which is located directly in front of the bed. Your room will be lit up when it’s sleep time. I would recommend a sleep mask. I would highly recommend a parking permit as public parking is very limited due to high activity in the area. This is not a bad property, just some little things that can be annoying. Enjoy the stay..

From the room I was in you are not able to see the beach, you have to walk out and to the front where the fire pit is. Check in was easy, parking is tough, but it worked out. The food nearby was excellent!

We had a lovely time. The staff was great. The only issue we had was asking for fresh towels and coming home to find our door having been left open all day and into the night - we assume for the staff to access the bathroom - to no new towels. Thankfully all of our things were still accounted for.

This stay was a quick overnight one and everything was perfect, and the beach is a hop skip and a jump away but everything is right around the corner. Perfect stay and one of the best hotels on Pacific Beach!

Pacific View Inn is a GREAT place to stay. Location, location, location! Hello. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. Can't get a quicker cup of ☕️ anywhere else! As many towels as you need, no problem. Beach chairs provided! The fire pit area is a great place to end each night, to unwind & reflect on the day's awesomeness. I'll definitely be back here again! In fact, this was my 3rd time staying here! Thanks again Pacific View Inn!

Shower was too small, shower dispensers were hung in wrong place, they were very hard to use, towels are very thin, no Ice Machine, Room was super small( didn’t look like picture!! Great location!! We were their for only 2 nights any longer it would have been rough!
