Just awful.. to start with, valet is $65 a day when the parking garage across the street charged $25. Font desk staff juyst does not care a bit, and when we were dealing with the huge line at check in, they said as much to every guest "we are remodeling, we do not have amenities, this is the way it is". room was extremely basic, tv was miniscule, and cleanliness was an issue. Forts room REEKED of smoke, second room was unclean, clothes left behind in bed, ditty bathroom. Bathroom sink did NOT drain, and was an issue all the time making noise. ON last day, sink backed up., causing black water to enter the sink and threaten overflow. area is sketchy and overrun with homeless. guests are there to party in gaslamp and are drunk and loud all night

I had a mixed experience during my stay. Staring from the check in process, that I didn’t feel particularly welcomed. I wish they had a kiosk for guests to check in because the machine might have done a better job. Unfortunately, the rooms had an unpleasant odor, which affected my comfort. The pillows smelled like peoples oily hair. Additionally, the bedding were very wrinkled, and I noticed some issues with cleanliness. I believe that addressing these concerns could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

During the holiday season, two of the four elevators were out of order. At midnight, we heard loud voices from drunk people walking on our floor and using inappropriate language. The front desk staff was not friendly and did not address our concerns adequately.
