We were told our room was actually 10 min walk away from where we checked in then i was told we could pay $75 to upgrade the room to save the walk. We ended up paying since we already parked the car and took all our luggage out. I wish we could have been told earlier there were two different towers located 10 mins apart by walk or 2 min apart by car so I can just drive straight up to the other tower.

I literally checked out this morning so this review is as fresh as you can get. My overall impression is underwhelming. We arrive on Friday to check in at the Bay building at 6pm. There was no one at the check-in counter which is odd for a high end hotel. We waited for about 5 mins then a man came out from a room behind counter and told us the hotel has changed out room to another building which is a few mins drive and about 10mins walk (if u walk fast). It would be great we were told ahead of time so we didn’t have to drag all that luggage out of the car then back to the car. The other building is better and more center where all the amenities are, a big pool, three restaurants and other activities. The building we originally booked doesn’t have these as I come to find out later which I would be furious. Staffs (including restaurants and housekeeping) were not very friendly. No smiles or greetings at all in the hallway. I get a sense they don’t like working there. As for parking, be warned if you are over during the weekends, parking becomes very competitive despite they have two large parking lots. Not sure why.

I was very unhappy with the location that we were given...the Lanai... It was a very long walk from the front desk for an elderly woman. By the time we got to the elevator to take us to the 1st floor, another long walk to the room! I would have tried to get a room closer to the front desk, however, I was very exhausted by the time we got to the room. I was not really happy with the door to the bathroom, a sliding louvered door. Other than that, the room was very clean.

I was checked in at the given check in time, but given a very sub - par room. NOT a Premium room I had pre-paid for. Went back to the desk to complain about the very bad room I was given and the new service person did not apologize, but gave me a better room in the newly updated tower. We did not get good customer service and will not be back.

BED BUGS

I want to express all my anger and emotions after unpleasant experiences in your hotel. We came to spend the weekend with my family and the day we returned I found a lot of bites on my body. My whole bottom part is covered with bed bugs bites. It’s unacceptable. It became our small tradition to spend one weekend during the summer in your hotel. But not anymore. And I insist on compensation for this unpleasant event.

Very expensive Couldn't get the phone on the room to work. Told the person at the desk and he pretty much said i was stupid because I didn't know how to use it. But besides that everyone was very nice.
