The pool n hot tub ..DO NOT WORK AND THE WORKER SAYS ITS BM DOWN SEVETAL WEEKS. I CALLED DESK AS THEY NRVER TOLD ME ABOUT IT N SHE REPLIED ITS MY PROBLEM AS I CHOSE TO USR A 3RD PARTY..PLUS THE LIQUOR STORE NEXT DOOR RIMGS U UP FLR A 8 DOLLAR THAN THE ACTIAL COST OF BEER..JUST HORRIBLE

Front desk staff doesn’t care. They are busy in chit chatting with each other when customers are waiting to check in. Told 30 minutes to wait but the actual wait was around 90 minutes for check in. The fridge wasn’t working. Room didn’t look clean. It’s the very basic property, don’t get fooled by good reviews because they had nothing better to compare. One other customer was comparing it with some road side motel. You get the idea, keep this in mind.

I used to love staying at The Atwood. Good rate but only because the pool is not open. They have been saying for months it will open soon. Also had absurd unauthorized charges on my cardv.i am goingvtriugh an ordeal vc og it.

Worst experience ever

It was the worst experience ever, the pool was closed and nobody told until after they always took my money, also I couldn’t get towels, I repeatedly asked, they kept saying they would get us some & never did, we couldn’t even shower in the morning, also my neighbors were in & out all night knocking on the door all hours of the night waking my dog and kids up multiple times! I will never stay there again! Name says Hotel but it’s more like a motel who cater to prostitution & Drug addicts!

Damage towels charges

I had unauthorized charges of $340 on my bank accoint after my stay. Contact the hotel and they said it was for damage towels. I doht this i was informed about the potential charges. And on my understanding I didn't damaged any towels. Need help resolving this situation

Pool and hot tub were closed and nothing was offered for compensation, not even an "we're sorry." When I brought this up, all they did was offer to cancel the reservation. Not helpful, and honestly rude. The rooms themselves were nothing special except that door sweeps/seals were missing. So anything could get into the room from under the doors (both outside doors and inside adjoining room doors had this issue). And things did indeed come from outside, as I spotted a mouse multiple times inside my room. I had to use tools to seal the bottoms of the doors. All in all, i would never come back and would advise for people to avoid this place.

Convenient

Good location if need to do errands around Mission Valley. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Parking included and in front of rooms (motel style). Bathrooms start to show some wear and tear and need some maintenance.
