This is one of our favorite hotels in beautiful San Diego. The room was very clean, well stocked & the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely view of one of the swimming pools. The Firefly restaurant serves a delicious salad & we received 2 VIP vouchers for drinks. That was a special treat. I walked a couple of miles following the gorgeous harbor right next to the hotel. That was fabulous! The view everywhere you look is beautiful! I only wish it had an elevator. My husband has arthritis in a knee so those stairs are rough! Next time we will ask for the 1st floor. We will definitely be back! Thank you Dana Resort!

Very nice property. Easy access to the rest of San Diego. Rooms were ok. One of the pools was very nice. We were next to some extremely rowdy people that were partying all night for 2 nights in a row. I am surprised staff did not come to tell them anything.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was so lovely and relaxing. The staff was amazing, especially the staff at the Firefly Eatery. Mary the head hostess went above and beyond to accommodate our group at the Mother’s Day brunch. So warm and personable. The server Bobby Ramirez was so attentive to our every need. Exceptional employees. We will definitely be back.

The Dana never disappoints and keeps us coming back for a fuss free stay in Mission Bay. Excellent for a family vacation and bicycling all around the Mission Bay and Mission/Pacific Beach area. Closest to Seawolrd and the shuttle from the Dana is a welcome convenience. Close to freeway so it’s easy to explore the greater San Diego area.

The room was nice and beds comfortable . The sun didn’t come out for our stay so we never used the two pools although we did visit them .

Perfect, Comfortable and Clean Weekend Getaway

We stayed at this property for a quick weekend while we were running the San Diego half marathon. We arrived late and had excellent service at the front desk. Our room was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We also enjoyed our time at the pool after our run. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the room location was perfect. We were able to walk from the front lobby to our room and to the pool within a matter of five minutes. I will definitely be staying at this property again in the future!

very clean, comfortable room. nice pool and hot tub right out the back door of our room. i loved having our own little private fenced in backyard area. everything was a close drive. mission bay is a great area with lots to do and see. can’t wait to come back! we definitely would stay at the dana again!

This was our second time staying at the Dana. It was another great experience. We walked to the ocean. We used the pools. If one was crowded, we went to the other one. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. My only complaint was with the restaurant onsite. At check in they had a sign with the specials for the week that included a special for kids. At the restaurant, onsite, they said that special ended. We still ate there, but funny they didn't even offer us anything, $5 off? Our bill was over $160. The sign with the special is what brought us there.
