It’s been better.

Hotel is in a great location. Check in was a bit long, Took more than 20 minutes with only 3 guest ahead of us. When the line became 8 deep, finally called another associate out to help. Room was clean, but tack strip going into bathroom was worn and I stepped on it with my bare feet. Lucky it didn’t puncture the skin. Neighbors on balcony smoking and loud, late in the evening and very early in the morning. Could not enjoy even opening the door for some fresh air. The price of parking is a bit ridiculous. Check out was easy. Hotel lobby was clean and always saw someone with a broom or mop tending to it.

Customer service

We had some challenges on our first night due a/c not working and changed rooms to a smaller room that had been previously been occupied with a pet which really bothered my allergies. We had a really bad first night but upon speaking with manager he said that he will take care of it and move us to another room of his choosing. We spent the next 3 nights in a much better room. This really made a huge difference in our trip and showed that this hotel takes care of their customers.

The veiw of the bay was super nice. We walked around the bay and shops almost everyday. The staff was great very polite and helpful. The only down fall was that it showed on Expedia that it was .5 mile away from the Marine base but we couldnt walk there it was way more than that. We ubered rides to the base. But the hotel A+.

Our check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk worker, Celia, charged us with stuff and could not clearly explain the additional charges. When we asked for a receipt showing the total amount, she flatly refused to provide one. She wouldn’t answer any questions and every question we asked her response was I don’t know!! This lack of transparency and professionalism left a very poor impression and overshadowed the rest of our stay.

Great location

Great location . The room was a good size with a balcony overlooking the bay although the balcony didn’t feel completely safe. The only thing letting this room down was the sheets were far from white.

The only issue found was the plumbing of the toilet. It was quite slow in that sometimes you would have to wait a long while before the next flush. Besides that the hotel was in good condition for being a little older and in front of the water. A nice refresh would be nice but it doesn't affect the point of being there at that location. With that said, everything else was great! The view of the sunset from our balcony, the location and proximity to main attractions, the free airport shuttle, having a coffee stand and a restaurant was all worth it.
