For motorists seeking easy in-and-out access along the Hwy. 101 Business Route snaking through San Francisco between the Bayshore Freeway and the Golden Gate Bridge, the Castle Inn is an excellent choice. Likewise, it is close to the Marina District, Cow Hollow, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Presidio. The facility offers free on-site parking, quiet, clean, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. I was very pleased with the establishment.

Don’t let the outside of the building, fool you very comfortable bed, spacious room, convenient elevator shaft. Damon was really nice. This place was recommended by a buddy of mine who visited San Francisco frequently. If you’re traveling by yourself or having a guys trip, definitely stay here. This hotel was the best bang for buck.

Check in agent at the desk was great. The room was not in good shape, though. It was clean, but it had a broken TV (no sound), broken phone, and broken fixtures in the bathroom. When I went to the front desk to report the issues, the door to the check in area was locked and no one was there. I decided to just get on with my weekend.

The front desk team was very helpful, friendly and accommodating (we had our luggage left to watch while we walked the city on our day flying out, he had no problem allowing us to do that), very clean and comfortable rooms- nothing fancy, somewhat outdated but comfortable, quiet and perfect for our 3 night stay exploring the city. Walking distance to great local foods and sites to see. Would stay there again on future visits
