I'll start by saying that to check in, there was no one in front and I had to wait for someone to come out to do it, the parking lot was very small, my car could barely fit in, they charged $30 for an extra car, the pillows in the room were very small and that's why I woke up with a neck pain, the room had a bad smell, the worst of all is that the woman who checked us in, opened my room and saw my boyfriend in his underwear, that was horrible, I will never stay at this hotel again.

The property is functional for the price. I did not dare walk barefoot in the carpeted room. There are minor damages in the room, the shower head is from the 90s, the bedspread was snagged all over, the hallway was 100 degrees on the hottest day, the AC in the room was struggling, the noise was unbearable even with earplugs [shouting, partying, traffic (it's on 101), and general city noise to be expected]. The location can't be beat, the staff are efficient, and walking distance to the marina and the Presidio is lovely.

This was a perfect hotel in the middle of the city. There were plenty of dining options and easily walkable and felt very safe. We would stay here again!

I enjoyed our stay but unfortunately we left a bag with my daughters retainer and other valuables and when I called to ask about them they said they didn’t have it. I know it’s there and it will be expensive to replace.

Good location parking was good. Our only negative is we ask for no house keeping and someone went in our room the day before we had to leave. I hope nothing got stolen out out luggage and I send twice I don’t want house keeping because other reviews I was reading ppl had the same problem I had. Staff needs to communicate better with house keeping. I will be talking to manager after my vacation

I was a bit concerned when we first arrived, but I would have to say this is the cleanest hotel/suite I have ever stayed in. It is dated but the cleanliness more than makes up for it.
