Excellent staff, super breakfast, large rooms

The staff was all extremely friendly, and the breakfast was hot and well-stocked. Rooms are large, and it was nice having a full kitchen with pots/pans/dishes/utensils already in the drawers (no need to call front desk). Pool was surprisingly warm considering it was mid February. Our 3 homeschool families would definitely stay here again.

There were a few things that stood out-multiple stains on comforter, old uncomfortable pullout mattress, shower head coming off shower wall, hair on toilet and floor, dirty dish sponge. The breakfast was a nice amenity.

This is a great hotel. It’s set up like a 2 bedroom apartment and each room has a separate bathroom. It makes traveling with your kids a lot easier!

Loved this stay!

This hotel was fantastic. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to a bigger one due to the original room we booked sold out. We now plan to always stay here and book the bigger room on our next visits. The hotel was quiet, the bedding was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own food.

Best Location to stay for an Extended Stay

I took a chance on the Hyatt House when coming to town. I often come to the Peninsula for work and family visits, I’ve stayed at most hotels in the area and know the brands very well. Being that the Hyatt Place is tucked just slightly away from the busy street I often don’t think about it. It’s absolutely a hidden gem. The rooms are comparable to a nice 1 bedroom apartment, they are stocked with dishes and utensils. The grounds are nice and perfect for walking, even a court for Basketball. You can get beautiful sunsets looking towards the Western Hills. Breakfast is good, a bit disappointed that they are working on the kitchen and we’re unable to grab a bite for dinner but plenty of stores and restaurants within on 5-10 min drive. This will always be my first choice coming back to the area.
