I gave 4 stars ONLY bc there is no on-premises parking. I was able to park in a lot just a quick 4-min walk down the street, which was about $130 for my 4-day stay. The hotel has valet parking for $65/day!!! Also, there is no shuttle service to/from the airport. Otherwise, the location near Fisherman’s Wharf is perfect!! We did love our stay there. Public transportation is all you need in San Francisco — I won’t rent a car next time.

First and foremost, the location was everything. 😍 However, I travel often and this hotel did not have good customer service similar to other hotels. From upon arriving, first thing we encountered was the Valet. Although we were the only car there, we did not receive a greeting whatsoever by the employee, no acknowledgement that we were even there 😂 so we walked towards the valet counter and provided our key to the attendant. No hello, no thanks, nothing. I then started walking towards the receptionist counter, thinking that the whole valet situation was just an isolated incident. I was wrong it just got worse 😩 As I was walking in, I looked up and made eye contact with the receptionist. Again, first impression. She looked at me and then looked back down. No hello, no smile, no welcome in, nothing. I had never experienced that at a hotel so I was put off by it. Lastly, the employees working the morning breakfast also lacked customer service skills. We asked for assistance with the pancake machine and that was a lag. The lady had no sense of urgency in assisting us. She went in a room and disappeared for a while so my daughter and I had to stand by the machine for a while as the line got longer and longer. We stayed two nights and spent approx $800 there, you would think we would receive better service, unfortunately we did not. Customer service is everything to me and my family and this hotel did not provide that for us during our stay.

Location, location, location! Very walkable area. Several wonderful dining options within walking distance. The room was very clean & a good value. Erica at the front desk was such a pleasure. She was very informative & gave us two excellent dining suggestions (and discount coupons). She was also helpful with directions & general tips about the area. Our stay included a really nice breakfast, as well. I would absolutely return to this property if I ever find myself in San Francisco in the future.

Was fine. I especially liked location since I have a knee that bothers me some. Area was flat and near attractions I was interested in. My only complaint is that the breakfast area on the weekend was super busy. Not enough seating. One of the coffee machines & one of the pancake machines was broken. Food needed to be replenished. Staff didn’t seem attentive. Much better on a week day.

Lovely hotel, in great location for tourists. Hotel was clean, beds comfy and decent breakfast choice. Staff were always friendly and approachable. 5mins walk to main shops and restaurant's in Fisherman's Warf. 10-15mins walk to piers for boat trips and Lombard st. Close to stop 2 for Big Bus tour though stop one and main centre only 5 mins walk too. Wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone wanting to explore amazing San Francisco!

Area was close to everything. Very walkable to Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, and Ghirardelli Square. Breakfast was ok. Our room was cleaned daily. Would definitely stay there again.
