Front desk at check in was rude and not willing to help. I asked to switch rooms because I am a light sleeper and I didn’t want to be next to the elevators. She responded “we’re full”. No customer service skills at all. I am confident that if you book through Expedia and get a deal, the hotel will give you the worst room (by the elevator that is extremely noisy). This happened to me on 2 separate occasions. You can hear the elevator going up and down frequently. It is so loud that I could hear it even through my earplugs.

This location is very close to all of the major attractions in the area. It is also conveniently located to many different ethnic food options. There are a lot of transportation options from public to private and you can get a rental car from a few locations in the area - way cheaper than renting from the airport. The property amenities are a bit expensive such as onsite parking, food, and drinks; but that seemed to be the norm in California. I would definitely stay here again, just make sure you dress warm San Francisco is cold in the Summer!

Insane fees and credit hold

Upon arrival we were met with a $500 credit card hold. I travel for work around 15-20 times per year and have never ever been told I had to pay a $500 deposit for a room anywhere including other holiday inn's, sister IHG hotels, even at far more expensive hotels. It's kind of insane... Add-in an additional $49 per day for parking. Oh and if you need any packages delivered it's $3 per package (they don't even bring it to your room) and of course Amazon ships everything in separate boxes can add up really quick Otherwise it's a good location, clean rooms, okay beds, but their price and hidden fees and holds makes this location feel like they forgot they are a holiday inn and want to get JW or International rates

We really loved everything. The room was very clean and very nice. We were on a higher floor so it was very quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant was convenient and delicious overall I would recommend this to anyone and parking was so easy and nice and convenient. The location was easy to find and great, we are going to book it for our 3rd time and would stay here every time we go to San Francisco !
