Best Was the View, Worst Was the Noise and Fees
This was our holiday vacation and first trip to San Francisco. First half of our trip was in Napa, 2nd half San Francisco. We wanted to see the GG New Years fireworks so we specifically looked for a taller hotel with a view. We're IHG members but I was using employee award points from my employer so we had to book through Hotels.com. We made a spreadsheet of all the policies, from parking fees to location fees to incidental deposits. We picked this hotel for the location, lower parking fee and no additional fees listed. We booked what was listed as the Premium King with a view. Upon checking in we found out there WAS an incidental deposit, we asked why that was not listed on their website, no answer. We asked if our room would be on the GG side, was told yes. There's nothing premium about the room and this is not a room for couples with luggage, only if you're traveling alone. There was nearly no space for hanging clothes as the closet is a combo storage for coffee machine, bathroom was also tiny, we had to use one at a time when getting ready. The worst was the noise, the walls are extremely thin. First night was screaming sick small kids didn't want to take their medicine at 11pm and again at 3:22AM, we knocked on the wall. Next night, upset couple around 2AM very loud, my husband called front desk but made it worse. The view was beautiful but was not GG. We made the best of it but will never stay here again, felt very mislead, poor sleep with noise, unrelaxing, no value.

My first room was not cleaned-bed still had someone essence still visible. My alternative room was better, but I was told to call in am to get another room. Decided to keep it-was not worth the hassle. They charge $100/night security deposit which I must have missed! That is not ok for a Holiday Inn - review that! That’s not ok! Nor worth it!

Property is in good condition and clean but property staff are ridiculously rude and arrogant. Very entitled and disappointed in the service here. They made checking in as difficult as possible and would not lend a hand with any questions we had regarding the surrounding area of the hotel. Overall good property but will never stay again due to the lack of good people working the front desk. This includes the management

It was a good place to stay.
The view was amazing. The parking was pricey. The room was clean. The location was good. There is only a pool . It would been so much better if it also had a hot tub!
