The place needs major overhaul. The bldgs are old and the walls are thin. I could hear the tv from the rooms across the hall. The headboard in my room was old and paint was peeling off it. I could see light coming from underneath the door. Lots of wear and tear on the walls. The place looks very dingy

Bizzarely negative experience in an old dwelling

Aging hotel. First attempt was to put me in a decrepit room with broken lamp and furniture. Non working air conditioner and a ailing shower. Then changed to a "better" room but air con is still ineffective and loud. Room was dirty and strange service. Left dirty linens in the room, forgot towels several times...very strange. Executive rooms for a short stay are ok. Front desk staff are friendly but powerless.

The service was all around terrible. Took over an hour to get breakfast every morning, no one was at the desk to check in or out. I was served raw chicken and cold french fries the one night I had dinner here. Used to stay at this hotel a lot before it was part of IHG and it was great for what it was. Now, it's literally the worst hotel I've stayed at in the last 10 years. I'll never stay here again and would recommend everyone else stay away.
