Definitely A Gem!
The front desk staff was definitely amazing! He gave me an upgrade for the room I'm not even sure why lol. The lobby decor was amazing. Room was clean and cozy. And I absolutely loved the bathroom, especially it came with a built-in Bluetooth in the mirror! I'll definitely come back to stay here again if I ever am back in town 🙌!

Hotel stay from hell
Extreme rude guest yelling in the hallway and his room all night through the midnight hours. Additionally, this was followed up by major hotel construction that awoke us at 7am without warning. Nice, cozy rooms were overshadowed by this madness.

I was initially a bit hesitant about staying at Hotel Julian, but it turned out to be a great, no-frills option. The place was clean, recently renovated, and located conveniently close to everything we wanted to do. I even managed to find safe street parking nearby! There was some noise from the room next door, but the staff quickly verified the issue and moved us to an upgraded room. My only note is that if you need a really hot shower, this might not be the best fit; the water was warm but didn’t get fully hot. I asked the front desk, and they mentioned that’s typical for their rooms. Overall, a solid stay!

A wonderful upgrade from the old hotel Vertigo, the hotel Julian is still in the grand opening stages with the kinks being worked out, such as the bar, food service and construction still going on throughout the hotel but despite this, the stay was very nice with a wonderfully updated room and very friendly staff. Hopefully the rest of the Tenderloin follows suit and reconstructs, upgrades and rebrands itself into something worth visiting.

Loved Hotel Julian! Perfect location for us and the reason we were visiting San Francisco. Good central location, street felt safe, and property was nice.

Great place on San Francisco. For the price this is a good place to stay. Bed good, room & shower clean. Nice staff and guard at lobby. Lots of restaurants, bars and grocery store near. Would stay again!

Perfect
We had an excellent stay at hotel Julian. Staff was amazing especially Tamer who welcomed us. The room was very clean and lots of feature. Be aware the tv allows you to broadcast , and you even have a bluetooth mirror for music streaming in the bathroom! They serve a quick breakfast with hot beverages, nothing fancy, but sufficient enough for me as I don’t eat a lot in the morning. Would highly recommand as the hotel was well above my expectations for the price.

There are rats in the hotel. There were three security guards chasing the mouse to kill it. I witnessed all of this and when I was in the elevator the mouse came towards me and I tripped on the stairs and fell in fright when I saw the mouse.

Hotel con lo necesario. Cómodo y con gente amable!
En general está muy bien ubicado. La gente de Front Desk es muy amable y servicial. La Zona no es la más bonita y dejar el auto en la calle se corre ALTO riesgo de cristalazo. Hay mucho Homeless pero en general así está SF. Si vas en auto, tienes que dejar el auto en un estacionamiento. Los estacionamientos son caros Aprox. 30-50 Dlls por noche dependiendo él que encuentres. La habitación es pequeña pero está muy bien. Cuenta con lo necesario. Ojo- Hay que dejar un depósito de $200Dlls que se supone te lo regresan entre 5-7 días (aún sigo esperando).
