Second time staying at Inn On Grove; the room is spacious which I enjoy, the bathroom is small and I did not like the soap dispenser being placed above the toilet. We had a situation with the Tv which froze multiple times and we couldn't use it. No one came to clean the room and when we asked for some towels they didn't have enough. The staff is nice , front counter super nice as well. Not enough parking.

Manager was great, very friendly! Location was absolutely incredible, walking distance to everything and lots of public transport and restaurants right nearby. Shower took a long time to get warm and then would get boiling hot randomly, but besides that it was a really great stay.

Parking sucked, but that's San Francisco for you. Besides that, the room was nice and clean and the people were kind. Wasn't noisy and it was within walking distance of the Civic Center and Mission

Staff helpful in recommending areas we should avoid in thr city. Also in advising on transport options. Lots of noise from room above due to poor sound insulation. Place could do with a deep clean.

I had one of my best nights of hotel sleep at this property. Frankly, I'm surprised I hadn't stayed here before. The location is superb if you are going to a performance in the area. Also great for shopping.

Clean, comfortable & crowded

Great stay, really clean and comfortable bed. The room is way to full with really large furniture when simplicity would be better. You have to squeeze past the bed to get to the bathroom because of a huge console that houses the microwave, refrigerator nad coffee bar. A shelf system 1/2 as deep would be so much better. The people were so friendly and the hotel is well cared for, great location too.

Good for a Night

Cute little place and solid location for the evening. Very friendly front desk staff. No frills. Parking is free, but man, is it tight. Always appreciate access to free parking in SF without having to fork over an added $40-60 for some valet or parking garage.

They did a great job cleaning and remodeling this property. My room was great, but my sister's room smelt like smoke. However, it was a great motel for the price. I put noises because the garbage pick-up was Monday at like 3:00 a.m.
