The check in area was small and smelled, says parking included but had no parking and was told to pay for parking in the parking garage because the post says limited parking which it didn't. The post says parking included and you have to tap a link so it to show somewhere else that it's limited parking. Guy was rude

Picked Inn on Grove for its proximity to the Golden Gate Park and that it has parking available. Was pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood. Lots of nice little places to eat and walk around. King sized beds were comfortable and clean. Not luxury but good value for the price.

Bed was adequate but splendid when I first arrived. Hamburger joint sharing the property has a good value and I ate there daily in order to be well fed for the Dead and Co shows. The staff are all very nice and helpful and really care that you’re happy. Basic room. Would recommend.

The carpeting, bedspread, and desk chair were dirty, and the toilet bowl needed to be scrubbed. A bulb was missing from above bed. The property generally was poorly maintained. You had to ask the desk for a hair dryer. The older Indian man at the desk was rude, bossy, and impatient, and he spoke English poorly.

Best place to stay in SF

Cute, super clean no frills hotel with the friendliest staff. Front desk person (BM) went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and cared for. Will be staying here again! Neighborhood is cute, safe with easy access to public transportation and restaurants.

It’s an older property in a less attractive neighborhood. As other reviewers noted, the rooms are small…very small. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Free parking was the best part of this property.

It's a basic, renovated and repainted old school motor inn. Clean, excellent location and felt nostalgic to me. Good option if you're cost conscious and want to stay in a great area. I want to celebrate and acknowledge the Manager who goes by BM. He went out of his way to accommodate requests and left after me and other guests. I think it's his care and leadership that really makes the place. Would definitely come back because of him

Pros - The surrounding area is so quiet - very little street/city noise. The exterior of the premises is extremely clean and well-kept. The room was clean and there was a fridge, small coffee maker, and microwave. Free parking onsite. Cons - we could hear people in the next room very clearly without some background noise. The carpet looked very dingy and all finishes are very dated. There was a large crack in the door you could see through. Towels and sheets were all very worn. No hair dryer in room. Chose this place based on location and good reviews, but would probably would not stay again unless rooms are renovated.

A little too expensive, but other than that it was a good place to stay. It lacked amenities for the price listed. Had no water in the rooms. Didn't offer breakfast so no issue for that since it tells you before booking. Location wise, very central. Personnel very friendly and professional 👌
