The property was very convenient to the SF opera, ballet and symphony, had a lot of great food options nearby. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However, the property itself is very outdated, there was no ice machine, no hear dryer in the unit. Staff was great, helped me find a parking spot. By the way parking is very tricky since parking units are tight car ports and I was very worried to stretch a car. Overall, would stay again for convenience reasons.

I traveled here for as a solo traveler and stayed for 3nights. Overall, it was a good experience the check in and out process was easy and quick. This is a well-lit property located in a quiet, safe area of town. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was exactly as pictured. It was clean, neat and everything was in working order. The only thing I did not like about it was that the mattress was too firm and hard. Also, the TV came on, but had to be set up. I never could get it to play the local news. I like that this property has free parking. That is a major benefit. I would definitely stay here again.

Inn at Grove is unique in that there is nothing fancy about it, however, the staff is wonderful, the rates are excellent and the location was perfect for my medical appointment.

Comfortable- Free Parking and No Resort Fees

Inn on Grove offers a no frills option for lodging in the expensive San Francisco area. The room was small but comfortable for our one night stay. The bed was comfortable. The TV worked well and offered Netflix streaming for those with a subscription. The bathroom was small but adequate. The shower water ran hot with plenty of water pressure. A positive plus was free parking and no annoying and expensive resort fees. We had a morning medical procedure at UCSF and this was a perfect location for our needs.

excellent hotel

Here for UCSF medical center and didn’t know the area. I feel very lucky to have booked our room here not only is it ten minutes from the hospital but it feels safe and cozy. Management and employees have been very accommodating and gave us a break with parking a little longer than checkout time. Rooms are very clean and relaxing. There is no additional charges for parking, using the refrigerator, etc. Again very grateful for this place in such a stressful time.
