They placed me in a room next to the service elevator that was having known issues by maintenance staff. The noise was so loud that it was vibrating my walls. I moved to another room and the shower leaked water over the entire bathroom floor. I will not be back to this hotel.

Room size was similar to first class berth in a cruise liner but with a large and extremely comfortable bed with allergy free bedding. Plush white towels were a treat as well as 2 mettalic bottles of fresh water every day. Room temp control was extremely responsive, within minutes. Concierge provided me with electric kettle for tea in lieu of Illy coffee maker in room. Excellent centralized location. Restaurant in lobby was great, with fabulous view of legacy designed vaunted ceiling & molding. Staff was extremely delightful and helpful All-round a lovely 4 day stay.

The hotel was beautiful and rooms were as shown. They are on the small side but it is built in the 1920s so understandable. The bar off the lobby was great. Amazing drinks and food but on the pricey side. The Starlight room on the top floor was a highlight. Make sure to make a reservation in advance. The area around it was great. Close to the higher end shops, Chinatown and a quick drive to the piers and wharf. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful room, but the bathroom was so small without any shelfing.. It made it hard to use for two people plus extremely loud at night. Early morning at 4:30 garbage being picked up. Lots of sirens and honking.
