The 3 star hotel rating is accurate. Not 3 minutes from SFO - more like 10. Not a great neighborhood. Glad I did not need to walk somewhere to find food. Put water thru the Keurig machine to make hot water for tea. Water can out brown with coffee grinds in it from previous pod user. Apparently hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Be very careful of water pressure in shower - more like a fire hose. Bed was comfortable.

I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites near San Francisco Airport West. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed that the jacuzzi was not working, which was one of the main amenities I was looking forward to using. There was no prior notice about it being out of service, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay for a short visit or layover, but I’d recommend checking on the status of amenities in advance if you’re looking forward to specific features like the jacuzzi.

Great to stay for quick stop over at SFO airport

Though this LQ hotel does not offer free airport transportation as compared to the other LQ hotels in the SFO area, overall, my stay is comfortable and convenient. The room is bigger, and the location to dine is plenty as they are all walking distance from the hotel.

When my daughter walked into the room it smelled terrible! The sink and tub had sewage coming out! When she called the desk for help, they told her to move down to first floor, but offered no help. That room was next-door to the all night laundry room where soccer team moms were doing laundry until the wee hours of the night and kids were running around being very loud!
