Really really really disappointed.
I’ve stayed in a lot of motel sixes in my lifetime and this was definitely the worst. I can’t believe in the city I grew up in at Ocean Beach the Hotel would be so ghetto. There was garbage outside our door. The curtains gave no privacy and they were hung all funky nowhere to put our clothes, and we got plenty early hoping to get a good room. I was looking forward to looking out at the sand dunes at the beach. All I saw was garbage when I walked out the front door and gate that slammed day and night with nothing to slow it down. They told us that the hotel was being tore down in a year, but I think while it’s open, it should be at least up to par. If it was a par three we shot an eight with that hotel. Somebody needs to look after Motel 6 because more than likely that will be my last Motel 6 Stay. The TV must be from the 1990s. We just wanted to mirror our phone to the TV and we noticed it wasn’t even a smart TV probably because the lowlife around the motel would steal it. It was actually antenna TV with about six or seven channels. I think you should give a warning about that motel when you’re booking it. There was homeless people sleeping in the parking lot. They were even banging on the gate day and night trying to get in. Very sad. Be well

Great place.
Staff was awesome. Check-in was a breeze. Plenty of parking. Nice neighborhood. Surrounded with great food options, like Clancey’s. The BEACH is across the street. We will definitely book again. The TV counter has scratches and the drawers are off the track, so if you’re picky… stay somewhere else. We loved it.

The room was in horrible condition, patched holes in the wall not even painted, tried to open the window and the frame fell apart, the microwave was not plugged in because there was not enough outlets for the tv refrigerator and micro , the chairs were so old they had cigarette burns and holes worn through, I would never sit in them let alone my wife whom I was embarrassed to even show the room to, no light switches to turn light on when you come in at night, had to use my flashlight to figure out someone had unplugged it , pull chain on the lamp? Really? The bathroom lighting was so inefficient I could not shave , the shower curtain rod was not attached and fell down when I moved the shower curtain, the room was so bad that I did not stay the second night , I was ashamed that I had rented the room, it was that bad, good location, terrible upkeep, motel 6 should be embarrassed to put their name on this place

What are you going to do when You visit a crap hole like San Francisco. This was the only place I could find that I can park a full size (stock) 4X4 F-150 for free. Sam at the front desk was very nice.
