Wonderful hotel and the location is easy to get to via BART. However, if you aren't familiar with the location you could easily find yourself a few blocks down and deep into the tenderloin that's LITTERED with bums and people visibly using drugs. With that being said don't yourself miss out on this gem of a property. The staff is extremely welcoming and very helpful. There is TONS of shopping and so much within walking distance.

If you like unexpected fees. Please book here. Not sure how after booking a room for $209, then valet ($75😩) I ended up with a bill for $330?? That was after contesting the mandatory amenities fee. The room was fine, nothing exceptional. Location was good, service was also fine, nothing exceptional

Check in took a little while, which I feel is pretty standard for this hotel. I have stayed with them 4 or 5 times now and check in is always super busy. The hotel staff are nice, but it always feels understaffed whether it is in the cafe, the grab and go, or the front desk. The rooms are nice, and the bathrooms are always clean. You roll your dice with view and street-noise, but I don't mind it. I use the gym every morning and it is large and varied enough that even if there are many people working out, I never feel cramped.

Great hotel! Valet is overpriced and lacking.
Everything was amazing! Desk staff were phenomenal! However, parking was a ripoff. They require valet and charge $86+ per night. Even though we paid, we were told there was no where for us to park. This leaving us scrambling looking for parking for several hours, until 1am, in a busy city on a Saturday night. When we called and spoke with valet we were told to "Google a parking lot" (which unfortunately lots surrounding the hotel were all "full". No refund offered for parking. The following morning upon our departure, we were told "oh, we had a spot for you...someone should have told you". Piss poor customer service by valet. Place is probably the most convenient for the price. Personally I LOVED it. Sure there's tons of transients around, and therefore leaves the streets messier than desired. I will say, they seem VERY harmless. The surrounding area tho, shopping/parks/public transportation is amazing and outweighs everything else you wouldn't like. Inside is perfectly fine. Had working AC, showers were HOT when hot and COLD when cold. Gym is 24 hours. Hotel bar served good drinks, didn't try the food. But looked good! Little convenient store couldn't have stayed open a bit later, but that was okay! Wasn't too upset over that at all.

Not bad. The room its self was good. Carpet needs changing. Not thr best area. Lots of homeless people.
