The hotel is located in a safe area and staff were available to me at the front desk at all times. This was a very comfortable stay! However, there is an additional destination fee of $38 USD a night to pay for items like the fitness center, bikes, coffee and bottled water. That being said, availability of bike sizes/ebikes was limited and bottled water was unavailable one morning that I had asked.

Stanford Court has been my go to hotel while in SF for several years. The staff is lovely, the breakfast selections are wonderful and the rooms are cozy. My one and only complaint from my most recent trip, there was an obvious odor in the lobby and elevators. It smelled like garbage all (4) days of my stay. Such a bummer, but otherwise…great visit to the Bay Area!

Great location, but be prepared for hills! The hotel is in a fantastic spot, perfect for exploring the area, but definitely bring comfortable shoes, as the surrounding hills are no joke. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. Be aware that parking is $75 per day, and there’s an additional $44 daily “property tax” that covers amenities like water, WiFi, and electricity. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, I had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this place. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

I would highly recommend this hotel. I loved the location, which is in a nice neighborhood and more quite than nearby union square. The rooms are nice and clean with a friendly staff. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby.

We had 4 nights at Stanford Court. The hotel is right by the cable car stops, so it was really easy to get around town. The staff were polite, and the hotel was clean. Coffee and tea was refilled daily and they were happy to give us extra if we wanted it. The only oddity was that the lifts kept going to the 8th floor - so many people commented on it -and as the floors weren’t that clearly marked from inside the lift, we did get out a couple of times only to discover we were on floor 8, not floor 5, when we were the only ones in the lift. It amused us if nothing else.
