I spent a stupid long time looking at all the hotels in the area, pretty convinced I couldn't beat Skye for a single night stay. Lovely staff, a very clean room. Easy. Up too early to try the breakfast, but slept great. Beds treated me as well as the ones at the Taj downtown. Room on the back side of the hotel had as little road noise as one could hope for in the area. Would absolutely return

I would rate this a 4.5 stay for its price on a mid-week stay where SFO airport hotels usually experience a price surge while Hotel Skye is still able to retain a great value for a great stay near the airport with scheduled shuttles (check for shuttle timing). The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped and nicely remodeled. It offers free parking and simple complimentary breakfast. It's right off El Camino Real and it's easy to find, which make the location truly excellent with many great dining options within walking distance and a long stroll or short bus ride to San Bruno bart station!

It is supposed to be a non smoking facility and my room smelled like marijuana. I needed to switch a room which ended up having smaller bed, no hair conditioner in the container which is an issue if you have a long hair. I turned on the heater which smelled like burn so I turned it off because I didn't want to end up with carbon monoxide poisoning and was cold all night. Not staying there ever again. Staff was pleasant.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Walking distance to Wendy’s, liquor store, gas station, and a dive bar (Newell’s). Great place to stay. Rooms were very nice and clean.
