This was our second trip with the villas and they were beautiful as always the staff and food was excellent. The service was incredible. The pools were beautiful. We are already planning our trip for next year to Mazatlan and will definitely stay at Pueblo Bonito villas. What a relaxing and beautiful environment to take some time off at. Can’t wait for next year.

The staff were very nice, but unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. Check-in was terrible. We waited about 30 minutes in line, and they were still doing everything on paper. Everything was closed because the hotel was undergoing renovations. All day long, we could hear drills, and construction workers were everywhere. We also had to wait in line to use the elevators because the construction workers used them as well. The pool was always dirty, and some pool lights were hanging loose in the water, which looked like a serious electrical safety concern. The food was okay, but the options were very limited. There was no cold water in our room. The bathroom was old and rusty, the bathtub was dirty, and you could tell they had just painted over the rust. There were only two elevators, and they felt hot and suffocating with no ventilation. Using them was a nightmare, especially with the construction workers also using them. Check-out was another hassle. They made us wait about 15 minutes while they checked that nothing was missing from the room. They also required the whole family to come to the desk so they could remove everyone’s wristbands. At other hotels I’ve stayed at, you simply return your keys and leave. I’ve never had this experience anywhere else. The friendly staff were the best part of our stay, but I definitely won’t be coming back. If you can afford to spend a little more, I would choose a different hotel.

Beautiful property and grounds with excellent services and welcoming staff. Some of the restaurant food was so-so but the events were excellent. All pools and outdoor areas were well maintained and clean. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't accomodated with grace and humor.

Everything was good overall. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the property was comfortable. I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.
