Fantastic location & rooms with an amazing rooftop

Amazing location right at the square. Everything is walkable. Beautiful rooms and amazing kitchenettes. Huge shower with rainhead and handheld and even double sinks. Tons of drawers and hanging space to unpack your suitcases. Small safe in the closet, table with 2 chairs. Absolutely perfect for a night, a week or even a month. The rooftop pool is fantastic with 360 degree views and tasteful music playing throughout the day. Would definitely return and recommend.

This hotel is pretty new from what I’ve heard. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The location is just off the old town square, so great for being in the heart of things. Beautiful views from the rooftop deck and pool. The only downside about the location is that it’s on a busy main road and a lot of the rooms face the road. Traffic noise didn’t bother me for sleeping (just white noise to me) but if it bothers you, that’s something to keep in mind. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only miss is that apparently hotel guests can get discounts at certain nearby restaurants and businesses but I didn’t learn about that until the night before I left. Overall, I think this was a great choice to be near the Art District and restaurants. As a woman travelling solo I had no concerns about walking around the area day or evening.

We enjoyed the location in the San Jose Cabo Arts District. Great restaurants and shopping were walkable. The rooftop pool was a nice plus! Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful new hotel. We would stay there again. Pool area on the roof very nice and a great view. I told the front desk that the stovetop (estufa) in our room wouldn’t work and a couple of days later I told the girl who cleaned the room that it still didn’t work. She got on her phone right away and told someone but again nothing was fixed. We stayed there for 8 nights and it would have been nice to cook something for a change.

Great location for those not interested in beachfront locations. Very walkable. San Jose del Cabo is very touristy. Very difficult to learn about local culture and day to day life. Staff were not engaged and had little concern for customer satisfaction. Made minimal effort to fix errors. Felt very “nickeled and dimed” during the stay.

This hotel is very nice. We enjoyed our room. The housekeepers were excellent. The location is right near the action, ie., the town square..it is active every night, has great food stands, and there is an art walk every Thursday night that is a must. The front desk folks were always helpful, from suggestions of what to see and do to helping me install a sim card...AND free electric bikes for guests to use...simply awesome.

The gentleman who helped us was amazing. He was at the front desk both Feb 14 and 15, helped us with everything from food recommendations to sight seeing and transpo. This a quaint, boutique hotel in a great location with excellent staff and service. Super walkable area with everything at your fingertips and an $18 Uber ride to the airport. My husband and I stayed here after a week-long resort stay and will definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly, approachable and always extended a helping hand when needed, our chamber maid Alejandra was exceptionally meticulous and our room was always clean and tidy, I would especially like to single out the desk clerk/ bell hop/ interpreter/ "Joshi". He definitely made our stay the most enjoyable that it could be as he imparted his knowledge of the area to us in a most courteous and professional manner and was always available to address ALL of our concerns. I would also like to commend him of his use of the English language which made our communication with him very smooth. The restaurant's food is very good and the staff is very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel

A bit disappointing

We were disappointed in our stay at Flamboyan. We were given a room on the first floor right next to the restaurant--and on our second night there was a dance party that lasted past midnight with very loud disco/house music. The room was not cleaned while we were there. We tried to change rooms but were told they were sold out and the only other room would have been a downgrade--it was much smaller and overlooked a construction site with music blaring at all hours. Pluses: The pool area on the roof is very nice and the indoor parking was included. Also, the location was quite central, within easy walking distance of the ArtWalk and the historic center.

Beautiful short stay hotel

We were in Cabo San Lucas for vacation and decided to stay extra 2 nights in San Jose to check it out. Best location possible of all hotels near art district. Walk to tons of restaurants, shops, art festival right there! Hotel very nice. Staff great. Extremely clean. Rooftop pool very cold in January though and smaller than expected but other than that can’t think of anything bad to say. I would recommend to anyone that was looking to stay in that area. More than a night or two for me would be too much in that area, but everyone is different.

Fabulous stay. Room 205 is the one you want! Huge, clean and new. Street noise is noticeable for light sleepers, but we had no issues. Beds were phenomenal in the one bedroom residence. Lots of pillows, had excellent sleep! Hotel staff are excellent and respond promptly to any concerns. Want to specifically call out Gerardo for being awesome! Pool area is incredible with lots of chairs and day beds. Weather is unbelievable. Hot during the day and cool at night, be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket! Restaurant is excellent how we seems to be only open for breakfast most of the time. We loved it here and will definitely be back.
