Property was beautiful. Staff was friendly and service was pretty good at the bars. Only complaint is that I had hotel transportation to and from airport included in my package. They charged me cash before they’d let me in at the airport and then wanted me to sit thru a timeshare to get the return back to the airport. Uber worked great instead.

They didnt offer me any upgrade options. To go into more facilities or get better liquor. My AC fan made god awful noice. They has a couple signs saying no smoking but none saying no Vaping. Which is obviously a big difference. They wanted to charge $70 to get a 2hr time extension. Ridiculous!! Not enough restaurant choices and the food was bland and average. Plus they don't offer a shuttle to the hotel or airport. Now I understand why the trip was cheap. Plus prices on everything is more expensive than America. For example, a $15 dollar fee to get cash from the ATM. Uber rides are double than in America. I definitely won't be coming back.

Very, very disappointed with this hotel stay. Most elevators throughout the resort were out of order including their main elevator for their Lighthouse Bar which was closed as a result. Food was very poor in buffet areas with lots of items missing like butter, black tea and when asked staff were not helpful and actually ignored us. Reservations at the two select restaurants were very difficult to get before 8:30 in the evening, if at all. Several lights were out in the bedroom. At $450 per night this is by no means a cheap hotel.

I recently stayed at the GR Solaris Resort in Cabo San Lucas and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The food quality was disappointing—dishes lacked seasoning and spice, and were often served lukewarm. This sentiment echoes other guests’ experiences; for instance, one reviewer mentioned being presented with undercooked food and bland alcohol. The resort’s infrastructure also left much to be desired. During my stay, half of the elevators were out of service. This was particularly frustrating as the main attraction for choosing this resort was the lighthouse housing the sushi restaurant. With the elevator to the lighthouse broken, sushi was instead served at the snack bar by the pool during dinner—a significant letdown. Similarly, another guest noted that most elevators did not work, leading to inconveniences. Additionally, the resort operates an exclusive membership program that differentiates VIP members from regular guests, creating a sense of division. Unlike other resorts I’ve visited, GR Solaris did not offer complimentary excursions; all activities required additional payment. Even amenities like the on-site fire pit came with extra charges, as guests were required to purchase a bottle for it to be activated. In summary, my stay at GR Solaris Resort was marred by subpar dining, malfunctioning facilities, and unexpected additional costs. I would recommend exploring other accommodations in Cabo San Lucas that may offer a more seamless and enjo

I loved absolutely everything about our vacation at the lighthouse! Amazing and varied food at the buffets and a la cart restaurants, super-clean rooms and grounds, perfect weather, we could choose between pools with more action or pools that were more quiet, and every staff member was so pleasant, friendly and helpful. Couldnt go up to the top of the lighthouse because of a broken elevator. No biggie! I will be returning next year!!

Beautiful place for a family getaway. We just returned from a bachelorette trip and had a great stay with minimal frustrations during our stay. We were unable to access our GR app until day two which limited our dining options being that is the only way to make dinner reservations. We were disappointed the lighthouse sports bar was closed, that was a selling point for our reservation. There is a $10 charge for all room service orders ( not a big deal but a surprise to me for years of experience at over a dozen all inclusive ). The swim up bar is in the shade all day. Overall, small resort and never a bad day in the sun. The pools were warm, mostly nice staff, and would recommend for anyone looking for a lowkey break from reality.

Not bad but not a 4 star resort. Will likely try a different 4 star resort next time. The good: the staff were friendly and working hard (making up for a clear shortage!), grounds were nice, lovely pools and views of the beach with whales jumping everyday, drinks were tasty, breakfast buffet was decent. Everything was clean and plenty of space to lounge around the pools. The activities lead Sam worked hard to keep the energy and fun going. The not great: clearly understaffed, lining up for 20-30 minutes to wait for drinks and having limited service pool side (in 4 days being poolside we had servers come up maybe 1/day at most), waiting 20 minutes for a coffee, having to serve own wine at dinner because there was only one server. The food quality of the buffets was not good. The other dining options fill up very quickly (and are medium quality) and we tried to order room service but never had anyone answer after calling multiple times. Even the guacamole was not great sadly! Had some strange interactions w/ the client care staff, after sending a note to come see them for a gift, they asked me to fill out all my personal information again (done at check in) when I was confused and asked if they could get from check in (I wanted to join my party at the pool) they insisted they wouldn’t help me the rest of my stay if that was the case? But other times they were helpful, very confusing interactions, not ideal customer experience. We had a lovely stay but felt overpriced
