Excellent reception staff here. Very friendly and accommodating…I asked for a quiet room and they took care of me. Beds are ultra comfortable , especially after a week of hardcore adventure travel. Great winding down !!!! I have been coming here for 25 years and it’s a great option for San Jose!

9/17/24. What a great place! Customer service is great. Easy access to roads. Slept really good, very quiet and the restaurant is awesome. Tania and Maria Jose in the restaurant have us ideas on destinations to see. They were always greeting guest and happy to have conversations. Never used the pool but looked amazing. Hot tub was private and perfect to relax. My wife and I would recommend this resort at a 5 star with not one complaint. State is walking distance as well as amazing places to eat. The hotel store has many items like snacks and drinks if you don’t feel like going out. We will be back. Thank you for a memorable stay.

This is our second time staying here and we like the property. The staff is multilingual and attentive. We go in early September which seems to be the off season so on one of our days we had the pool to ourselves. The hotel is situated so that we could take day tours to La Paz waterfalls garden, arenal volcano for zip lining and hot springs, Manual Antonio National park. Tortuguero Etc. they are long day tours but San Jose is centrally located for the most part. The staff at this hotel are amazing. Many remember our names and are very helpful with inquiries. We used the day spa as well and were able to reserve the day of on the first visit and we booked in advance for the second go. They are building another Hilton right across the street and we understood that they are off the same owners so this property will only get better fingers crossed. There is a small casino on site and a swim up bar at the pool. Many of the staff have been at this hotel for decades which to me is a testament of how well they are received. I hope you enjoy your stay if you select this hotel. We sure did.

The staff was very kind and professional. When we arrived our room was not ready and they had upgraded us because of maintenance being done in our room. They allowed us access to the lounge so that we could relax while we waited. Overall the only suggestion is to have the pool heated during colder times. It was very hard to enjoy the pool because it was cold.

The pool area is beautiful as is the entire resort. The staff is super kind. The food in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, but there’s a A lot of options very close. Walkable! The parking is included in a secure outdoor lot. Tour guides will pick you up at the front door.!

We liked everything about this hotel for the reasons identified above. The only thing that we weren't happy with at this hotel was the limited amount of towels and glassware cups that the housekeeper was willing to leave in the room after cleaning the room.

This was a $100 a night hotel at best. Our room stunk literally smelled like mildew and was pretty dated and and worn. Mixed drink from the bar were incredible but completely over priced compared to other hotels we stayed at all over the county. It’s a double tree not ritz, price your products as such.
