INSULTED GUEST

At the hotel everything was very well. I asked at the front desk what do they have to do a couple of hours around. A nice employee told me about a shopping mall and restaurants at walking distance but sure a rain will star en e few. They have a free service shuttle every 30’, After I visited a mall I returned to the stop location of the shuttle. 90’ minutes waiting, it was raining hard. I have not colons money to take a taxi, I have dollars on $ 100.00. The rain stoped for a while but still a drizzle. I was very upset. At the front desk I asked who is the responsible for the shuttle. I explained what’s happened not with the best manner, and the employee said: “we are not offer shuttle service to the mall, only to the airport” at his point I want to kill someone. A new girl employees (Marilyn) come to try to calm me but she was only trying to cover the liars words (not shuttle service to the mall) of her colleague. I consider all this a very low professionalism and not respectful attitude to the guest.

Everything was ok except the fact that we had no refrigerator to keep my meds and foods cold. They had something that resembled a fridge but was sent than the air temperature in the room.

There needs to be a toilet brush, my toilet handle had brown stuff around it which makes me believe that the cleaners are using a cloth to clean the toilets as there is no brush. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Good shuttle services fromthe airport. There are restaurant's located opposite to the hotel. Hotel is located 5 min drive from airport. All in all, I had a good stay.

I stayed here for my last day in Costa Rica (my first day in Costa Rica, I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott right next door). Do yourself a favor and skip the Courtyard. The Fairfield was by far a superior hotel from the condition of the property to the staff. The staff there was very efficient and helpful. This hotel offered complimentary breakfast whereas the Courtyard did not. Strange since Fairfield ended up being less expensive. When I mentioned that I would not be able to partake in the breakfast because I would need to leave early for the airport, hotel staff offered a to-go breakfast. It was just juice, a cookie, and an apple, but was a nice touch!
