The only thing i dont like about this hotel is the shower head. The hotel is good but i couldn’t believe that they couldnt afford to install a small thing like shower head to make it a perfect hotel to stay. The shower head is very cheap. Looks like they got it from a junky yard sale for free.

Checking in we used the virtual rep. Was quick easy, only thing the volume could be a little louder. Not all the outlets in room worked. Wifi for the tv did not work. Wifi would go in and out or say not connected but the wifi would work on my phone. When it did connect to wifi it would play about 2 min and load for almost 10 min to the point I had to use my personal hotspot. The morning of checking out our bathroom light was flickering and the light went out.

Overall Nice Stay
The service, location, and overall appeal of the hotel was great. The only downsides were: 1. The bed was like sleeping on a box spring 2. Our room connected to the breakfast area so we could hear everyone. Including the staff restocking with heels on. 3. When people were in the hallway we felt like they were in our room talking. Luckily it didn’t happen too often. 4. We were hearing load thumps that would rattle the room.

Great hotel for the price especially for the area. I was visiting family at the Santa Clara Medical Center so it was very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was far better than I expected and the gentlemen who checked me in was lovely. Both patient and helpful to all my issues. The only drawback is the water takes a while to heat up if you shower early in the morning.

Don’t stay here unless you have no other choice. The hotel is a very modestly renovated motel on a very noisy street. A remote staff member sitting in Bogota, Colombia “checked me in” through a computer terminal. Other guests showed how to access the room through a code because there was no hotel staff around. There's no restaurant other than for breakfast, no bar, not even a phone in the room. And no security that I can see. It is clean throughout, though.

The pics online were nice so we thought we would give Best Western a try. Big mistake. Our room was rundown and dirty. The beds were comfy. We wore shoes in the shower because it was so dirty. They did not clean our room until I requested it as our garbage was overflowing. I was told to get my own towels from a cabinet in the kitchen. There was rarely anyone at the front desk. The majority of our interaction was with a computer. We never saw any security on the property. Two strange men walked into our room at 11pm using the key code on the door. They never told us who they were or what they wanted. They did not have anything that identified them as employees. That was unnerving. The underground parking was nice as were the couple employees we did interact with. Not good.

Staff entered room before 11am despite approved late check out and despite us yelling out “no!” “No!” And “No service please!!” We had to call in for reinforcement . Otherwise check in was easy - associate was friendly and great, as was the person who took the reinforcement call upon unexpected entry by (housekeeping) staff. Room was clean and well-appointed.
