Enjoyed 3 nights at Windchimes. Overall stay was good. Some of the pros: property is beautiful and serene. Walking distance to the beach. Room was a good size, coffee available in the morning at the front office. Pool is clean and area is relaxing. Staying at Windchimes also gives you access to pool at sister hotel ‘Acacia’, located a two minute walk away. Cost was reasonable. Some of the cons: only street parking is available and it is very limited. Upon arrival, front desk staff were not very friendly (caught me off guard).

Cozy hotel, smaller than we thought it would be honestly but the service was exceptional, especially from Ricardo. After we did check out we had a whole extra day to keep exploring the city before our flight but we didn’t have a place to leave our suitcase, so we shared our situation with the front desk and Ricardo assured us we could leave our suitcase with them, that he would look over it until we come back at night to pick it up. He also offered us a bathroom if we needed to change and take a shower before leaving and didn’t accept any money in exchange for that. Great customer service!

I love this quaint place with modern amenities. Always clean, comfy beds and pillows, really hot shower water. The pool is magical, and there is a floral or decorative surprise around every corner! Great staff, very helpful. The sister hotel has a heated pool and 5☆ restaurant.

My husband and I like to adventure and stay in different hotels in San Juan but this one did not have parking had to walk 3 blocks from where we parked, the bathroom faucet was leaking all night, the bathroom doorknob was broken and when we asked if any other room with king bed available they did not have any at all. Will not return to this hotel.

Quaint hotel in the heart of condado
This is my second stay at the hotel. I enjoyed my room and stay overall. I will say though, my friend stayed in the other side of the hotel and it needs a bit of an upgrade. It’s very old and not well kept. There was a lot of condensation and humidity and mosquitos on top of that. I suggest that should be corrected because then the mosquitos can eventually become a risk factor for the staff and guests alike.

Unique, historic property. Felt safe. Architectural charm, on small scale. Its sister property Acacia Boutique Hotel is worth visiting as you also have access to their lap pool, which is warm. Must check out the Niche restaurant at this locale, down the block from At Wind Chimes, for French and Puerto Rican fusion cuisine/fine dining. Older property in need of some upgrades but quite good if youre looking for a low key experience. Would revisit.

All staff was nice, but one person. One thig they have to make sure is that they put signs that there is not smoking even at the balconies in the hotel. But but over all everything was beautiful and nice.

Very hard to find parking spot. The shower was Clogged i almost drowned taking a shower…. Was disgusting having my feet’s full of dirty water… no hot water on shower…. Was colder that anything… 😓😓. Iam very disappointed this time…. 😭😭

First of all the place had no power . They didn’t accommodate us after we asked them about the power. We literally couldn’t even get ready or anything. The place told me in advance since my flight was cancelled and I didn’t arrive til next day that the day I was checking out I could stay until my flight left . They LIED . They made me check out and wait in the hall way for hours !!! Worst experience ever
