The Courtyard by Marriot at Miramar was excellent — the staff was courteous and helpful, and the property was pristine and very well kept. The room was very comfortable and spotless clean. I never saw the cleaning staff, for I was out about town most of the day, but they did a terrific job, for everything was clean and arranged by the time I got back. The area around is a bit dirty and run down, with some buildings vandalized with graffiti and other buildings boarded up just down a block from the Marrriot; but it the location is at the edge of Miramar, which is one of the nicest parts of it — and the hotel itself was like an oasis of comfort. I would recommend it.
