Great location.
Nice big room. Friendly staff… although they didn’t seem to know much about the area. Very clean. Unfortunately the bar and breakfast are only available on weekends. Great central location.

The hotel's location is perfect for walking around Old San Juan. It's on a quiet street across from a church and, for an unknown reason, there was a police car stationed next to the hotel - so we felt very safe. There was free coffee each morning in the lobby and many little restaurants nearby. The old city walls/ocean are only a couple of blocks away. Our suite was comfortable for us - we had two in the Queen bed and two on the sofa bed, which was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was not stocked well but we used the microwave and fridge. We had a fun night at their rooftop bar. The servers there were SO nice and there was a good vibe. We got wonderful advice from two of the front desk staff. However, the woman who checked us in was unwelcoming and unhelpful. Luckily she was off duty after our first day's checkin. Overall, we recommend Decanter!

Great pre-cruise stay.
Lovely historic property, walkable to the port in Old Town San Juan. Honored my Platinum status with an enjoyable bottle of wine (our choice between white and red). Housekeeping gave us extra coffee for the coffee maker and there is a nice espresso machine in the lobby available in the morning and again in the afternoon. The hotel messaged us with important parking info, which didn't apply since we did not have a car, but would have been a great heads up if we'd rented one. Staff was unfailingly pleasant. Would stay again.

At the heart of San Juan. My kids loved the pigeon park that is just few minutes walking distance away. Lots of great food near the hotel. We stayed during a weekend, the area can be a bit noisy after midnight, I was woken up 2am by groups of people shouting in the hall way. Regardless, the hotel is a wonderful.

Property is in a great location. We did lots of walking and exploring. Room was clean and nice. The only thing is next time I would get an interior room because you are close to the street and partying so you hear the loud music and people walking up and down throughout the night. Staff at the front desk and cleaning were so kind and helpful! It’s a perfect location close to shops, restaurants, historical locations to explore.

Staff was attentive and friendly. Easy accommodations for English speakers. The bar upstairs was well attended, unfortunately I was in town one day so didn’t frequent. Hotel was clean, rooms spacious for the Old Town area. I’m walking distance of the crusie terminal and all of the places to visit in Old San Juan. Attendant 24/7. A note if you are looking for a quiet hotel this is not the place so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to street noise. Don’t let that deter you otherwise. Great time and I would visit again.
