The location of the Decanter was perfect and made walking around the old town incredibly easy. The team at the property was absolutely amazing! Loved each one. We had the wrap-around terrace with queen room and enjoyed it very much. It was very comfortable and clean. The Decanter is historic and charming and we would absolutely stay there again. One caution for those not familiar with San Juan’s historic area: it is a lively area with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. If you’re seeking a quiet place or wish to sleep really late, this may not be the location. It can be noisy late at night, and from our room we heard a lot of noise from outside in the morning. We didn’t mind and were usually up early for activities, but just a note for those who might be looking for something more quiet. Overall our experience was wonderful.

My friend and I stayed one night at the Decanter Hotel. he personal was very friendly and attentive. The rooms where clean with great amenities. The area around the hotel was nice for walks. Loved the location. We felt very safe and relax. We will definitely be back!

Great location, spacious room on 3rd floor. Staff was nice and generally helpful. Our visit was in October, so restaurant was closed, rooftop bar only open on weekends. Coffee machine was out of order and we had no hot water in our room for the entire stay.

Small hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and updated. Roof top bar was great way to end the night! Hotel is convenient to restaurants and shops in Old San Juan. Stayed here for one night before taking a cruise out of Puerto Rico. Hotel is close to cruise terminal.
