Note: this property has changed names (bought by Abbita next door) so it was difficult to find. It was also under construction and the El Canario building was quite empty, though the Abbita building is cute & lively with great amenities that you can use (a nice outdoor hot tub, pool, and indoor fitness center). The service I got from the front desk staff was excellent - they were super accommodating and apologetic about the condition of the construction. The room itself was modern and cozy with a comfy bed but they are clearly still putting finishing touches on it. I’m sure when it’s finished it’ll earn a full 5 stars! Also beware if you’re a light sleeper - it is a little noisy on a weekend night due to surrounding nightlife. The area is great since it is very close to the beach & bars & restaurants.

food was good. Room was clean. Shower water could of been hotter. Pool was clean and well kept. Plenty of room for people who want to sit in the shade by the pool. A block away from the beach. Restaurants near by in addition to the restaurant on site.

Did not get to stay

Due to delays in flights I was unable to complete my stay. I spent all morning calling and never got an answer until the afternoon when they told me I was already within the time frame of no return. Very upsetting I spent hours trying to cancel while also trying to figure out my flights. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately that was not the case, and when I called their systems were down and unable to assist me right away.

The staff was amazing, the dining at the restaurant was also amazing but we ended up inba different hotel and werent informed. We ended up at the Abitta, which we didnt book for a reason and then to be booked there anyways, kind of confusing.

Family feeling. Sweet employees and they made u feel comfortable on my beautiful island. Beautiful hotel, clean and super friendly. Convenient location everything is within walking distance.
