As a first time visitor to your island my main concern was my safety and I felt completely safe at El San Geronimo! Love the area, love the central location i.e. getting to Old San Juan, to the airport, getting to the malls etc.

We booked the basic standard room and I’ve never experienced something so small. No where to put our things. It was just a bed in a room. No shelves or couch. We had to open up the ironing board to have some form of counter space. The bathroom is tiny. Water in the shower was cold entire stay. I wouldn’t recommend this property. It should be cheaper than what is listed.

This property was very nice, there was some renovation being done but not to bad. It’s very convenient to the beach you can either go left or right. The Chinese restaurant next door was amazing for something quick to take up to the room or dine in. I would definitely stay again.

I like that the beach is close. The staff are OK understanding and friendly. The hotel needs a lot of work. My bed has several hairs in it. The covers smelled of the people who slept in it the last time it was rented.

Hotel esta en remodelacion. Cuarto comodo, limpio, cuenta con elevador. El cuarto de 1 cama, el baño es un poco pequeño pero era por una noche. Cama cómoda, toallas limpias. Hotel accesible ya que queda en la misma entrada para el viejo san juan. El Parking es en el antiguo hotel Normandie (necesita iluminación). Volveria a quedarme, recomendado.

The area of the hotel is very convenient. We did have issues with the AC not working on 2 separate days and the room was unbearably hot. The staff worked quickly to get it started and was fixed within a few hours. The room is clean. However, the shower curtain had pink mold on the bottom of it, which shows it was not cleaned. The towels had some of stain on it. The room is a good size. There is good security in the building, so if you don’t have a room you won’t know the code to get into the building. There was hot water in our sink, but absolutely no hot water in the shower. Overall about 2/3 stars.

The property was close to a lot of restaurants less than 5 mins away even though they are remodeling it did not affect the stay at all they were very professional and attentive will stay there again

So our flight got canceled back home to Florida and we had to book another night somewhere and we found this hotel for the price it wasn’t a bad option. They let us check in early but we did have to change our room 3 times. The hotel is going under renovations so a lot of rooms we were put in had problems. The last room they gave us was an upgraded room and it was very nice. Hotel has hot water and wonderful ac. They do charge you $200 deposit and you don’t get it back unless the room has been cleared. We still haven’t received our deposit back yet.
