It is absolutely beautiful. It is an old building (couple of hundred years old, we were told) and has original wood carvings and ceiling, but modern amenities like excellent air conditioning. Best of both worlds. Staff was wonderful. Will stay there again.

The one thing I disliked about this property - the door to our room was glass. It had a privacy curtain but let in light from the common area at night. Thankfully I travel with an eye mask so it wasn't an issue. That said, I would stay here again (with my eye mask!) because it was super cute!

Suites were very unique and comfortable. Nice location from cruise terminals and areas in old san juan. All walkable. Minor areas that could improve us door closures (squeak or rub on floor) and no bottle water in rooms. Still a pleasant stay and would recommend.

Nice place only downfall for our room was dark and half the lights didn’t work. Air was far from being comfortable. Ceiling fan had no cord to be able to turn on. Had a stand alone fan which helped some. Would have been an excellent stay if everything mentioned worked.

Decent, not modern. Kitchen essentials bring out the best in this hotel. One of the receptionist was a little rude with zero patients on explaining how to access room keys.

Omg this place was so spacious and beautiful, but I wish there was an elevator because the luggage was too heavy and difficult to carry upstairs. Place was quiet, clean, beds were comfy, had wifi, AC, and full equiped kitchen. There was a shared area downstairs with coffee, tea, sugar and ice water. I will definitely go back.

I asked the front desk on two different days to have the room cleaned and it wasn't done. The room barely fit a queen size bed. When I inquire if all the rooms were that small I was told that only that one. Also, that that room was the one given to people who book through hotels.com I saw two roaches inside the microwave. The front desk was overall friendly and the location is good.

Not luxury, very practical.
This is an older building, which should be expected in old town San Juan. This is not a luxury hotel. It has a limitations of an older building, including few outlets, no windows in our room, not a lot of amenities. For a one night stay prior to a cruise, it is probably perfect. Do not bother getting a taxi to the Cruise port, anyone with reasonable health can easily walk and save the taxi. It is also within easy walking distance of all the tourist sites in the old city.

Worst place ever
Rooms too small with no windows it is like a prison cell. Will not stay there even if it was free. Horrible experience. Refused to check in and left the hotel. Be wear. Pictures had nothing to do with reality.
