We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a week long trip. First of all communication from staff was great. I recieved a message from staff early offering to store our luggage if needed and again before we checked out which i thought was very kind. Location is great, walking distance to everything including ruins, stores and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need including a fridge and nice large shower. Staff was very accomodating in giving us extra items we asked for. The building has a beautiful courtyard with rooms surrounding. Even though you are in the middle of a busy city you wouldn't know it because it is very quiet and peaceful inside. Would stay here again for sure.

Great historic location in Old San Juan
Amazing location in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Old San Juan. Steps away from shopping, bars, and restaurants with a view of Castillo San Cristobal. The walk to the cruise terminal at pier 4 was about 8 minutes. Maricruz, the owner, was so friendly and helpful also. Will definitely stay again!

The host is friendly and helpful and the house is lovely. However, we experience severe water leak several times at night due to rain and an unexpected power outage. While the power outage is out of host’s control, it affects our experience. And the water leak is just above the bed, which greatly affects our sleep at night.

Two Day Pre-cruise Stay
Property is right on Plaza Colon in the heart of Old San Juan. Great location for walking to restaurants, bars and San Juan attractions. Maricruz is very communicative, and helpful recommending activities and making sure you have everything you need.

Right at the center, yet quiet & friendly
We wanted to have the old San Juan experience, and Hugo's place was at the perfect location with friendly service and all the comfort we needed. The room was quiet and easy to access despite being in a busy area of town. We were given good and flexible service even though we arrived early, and they made us feel like home. We will come back next time in old San Juan!
