We arrived after 5pm and still had to wait for the room to be ready. I had read that other guests had used to kids pool area across the street at hyatt place when staying at hyatt house. When I arrived at check in I was informed that although it is another hyatt property and directly across the street, you could not use the kids pool there. Very disappointing for my son.

So disappointed our team won’t stay at Hyatt again. Walked into room and got strong smell of urine in the entry. Switched rooms, but same smell. They said it was the floor cleaner but on the last day I heard other guests complain about same. Cleaning staff shortage so they didn’t clean our room until we insisted on the 3rd day. The good thing was location and local shuttle. The staff was friendly but not helpful. And construction banging early morning. 450/night was ridiculous for what it was.

This was our first time in Puerto Rico. The hotel isn't far from T mobile mall and convention center which we walked to for dinner and entertainment. The road leading into the area can be dangerous because people are driving really fast, making lane changes difficult. Landscapers and construction crews were very noisy beginning at 7am every day right outside our room.
