Building needs maintenance and upkeep , dirty, broken things on site - room bathroom hot water not working or turn on at sink in bathroom , they have sign up for peace and quiet and dog inside there barking all night - no food there and call themselves boutique hotel . Not happy and won’t go back . Too expensive should have been $50 a night and I should receive refund was terrible

Loved the location. Our room was perfect for our family of 6. (Parents and 4 adult daughters). Just needed light bulbs! (The living room lights didn’t have working bulbs, or they didn’t work). But thats easy to fix. It was perfect!

Awesome beachfront property in a very quiet neighborhood minutes from the kiosks in Luquillo. Very clean establishment. Can’t wait to go back.

I recommend this hotel.
Excellent communication with guests. Really enjoyed our stay except that the bed was not very comfortable. Excellent location. Short easy walk to the beach and food kiosks. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute, convenient, with great ocean view
We needed a place to stay for the night and we chose Selva Boutique Hotel. We had a rental, we parked across the street in their small parking area. Our check in was easy and convenient. We had a room on the first floor. The back of hotel faces the ocean. AMAZING VIEW...you could hear the waves hitting the building. I would stay here again. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it.

I can not wait to come back to this very affordable gem! I felt like we had the place to ourselves. Easy check in & check out. On the Ocean with Amazing views but need to take a 2 min easy walk to beach access. It’s about 12 min walk to the Kiosks. The Pool was crystal clear & a light breakfast of cereal & coffee is served. Jet ski rentals, rain forest, boat tours and the Bioluminescence bay in the area. I highly recommended all of them. The grounds and vibe is great! If you’re looking for Fancy this isn’t the place for you. This property gives you the feel of the area & PR. Only con was our slider door was off track and wonky. Still could access our deck with great Ocean views just needed alittle muscle.

The hotel is in the middle of a neighborhood. A little difficult to find but nevertheless it’s nice. It’s keyless and contact list but they answer the phones right away. It’s near Luillo Beach where there is lots happening. there’s somewhat of a continental breakfast.

If you are looking for a no-frills hotel with a clean room, comfy bed and wonderful staff, this is the place. Getting to the beach without a car is though but once you get there, it’s perfect! Chair rentals and restaurants galore!

If you’re just snoozing and leaving, it’s okay. Do not plan on hanging. Safe parking. Lovely beach wave noise. Pool seems ok. But overall, it is incredibly sub par. Would not recommend. Wish we did an Airbnb or stayed closer to the other beach (look up the Surfing or lazy turtle - that area. Recommend board riders for food and nightcap but it’s a drive.

Selva Boutique must have been perfection in its hay days. The property is located right on the water, and you are lulled to sleep with the sounds of crashing waves! The room was very clean, and the staff was accommodating and pleasant. The lounge areas on property could use some love, but the place is still charming in its own right. We enjoyed our night there.
