We loved the location and that we got both ocean view and lagoon beach. The winds are powerful so having the quiet beach was perfect. The staff was over the top wonderful. We never ate at the hotel b/c all they offer is a cafe. No room service. The elevators were unreliable. While the room appeared clean the sink was full of black curly hair. Gross! We had trouble getting our door to unlock/open both getting in and getting OUT. That freaked me out a bit b/c of safety concerns. They offered to move us but when we saw that room it was more "tired" than our current room. The engineer/maintenance team arrived pretty quickly and fixed the lock. That evening we heard a lot of slamming of doors and pounding down of handles, so I think this could be a common issue. Overall, the hotel is tired. The room, while looks inviting in photos feels more like a 70 bachelor's pad with the red velvet/fleece/I dont know material couch. With the salt and humidity...we did not want to sit on it, which gave us 1 chair to sit on. The glass doors were hazy, but we still had a beautiful view. The tile floor was also unappealing. We never wanted to walk barefooted. We wont stay here again, but the price, views, pool and beach, location and the staff definitely make it appealing. If the hotel got an upgrade we certainly would reconsider.

This property is a close walk to many of the attractions in Condado, and the access to the public lagoon is convenient (though the hotel offers few hotel red umbrellas—be prepared to pay for a public one). The staff are hospitable and quick to arrange transportation. The only less-than-fully positive comment I would offer is the limited access to any hotel restaurant. The hotel recommends its pool bar as the restaurant and the restaurant at the hotel across the street (which was a former tower of the same hotel years ago). The pool amenities are attractive; though, seating is limited (so claim your spot early!).

They gave me a double bed room instead of a king bed which I reserved for. The wall in the first room they gave me was damage. The ceiling in the bathroom in the new room started leaking on the 3rd day. The room was freezing. It was a terrible experience for. Not recommended 👎👎👎
