The staff was excellent, very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and stocked with toiletries. They have WiFi and smart tvs. The room itself is very small. They say there are only stairs in the description….believe them! Don’t take a lot of luggage. Speaking of luggage, they will hold your luggage over check out so you can do stuff without lugging your suitcase with you. It was conveniently located between the airport and cruise port.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was warm and welcoming, communication about our stay was also clear and easy. There are numerous food offerings, a great cafe and taco spot, both adjacent to the hotel. There are a lot of stairs and the night life can be exciting, if you’re not into that, maybe find a more mainstream hotel. If you like a local vibe, this place is legit!! 10/10

The front office ladies were amazingly polite and made sure i had everything i needed for my stay. Not sure what the other reviews are saying about cold showers, my water was hot at night and in the day. 10/10 recommend and will stay again in the future.

Horrible service, place looked nothing like the pictures. Very smal like sleeping in a closet. I ordered housekeeping and they did a terrible job didn’t clean nothing. Hotel is next to a club that plays loud music until 3am.

Stayed at this hotel for an evening before boarding a cruise. Very close to the airport and the port. The staff were very friendly and helpful as our flight landed very late and could not check in until 2am. We didn’t explore the area around the hotel as we had to leave early the next day but we would definitely consider staying here again if we find ourselves back in San Juan!

I rented this property based off location but having the Sanse festival so close, it was not ideal to stay there. Streets blocked off with no prior routes to be shared. If you like warm/hot showers, this property is definitely not for you! The room literally has the bathroom next to the bed which is not ideal when you're traveling with someone. On a positive note, if you like to walk, the Morro, is less than 2 miles as well as everything San Juan has to offer and the ferry to go to Cataño.

This hotel was very disappointing. Although it was rated excellent by hotels.com, nothing was near excellent. Check in was delayed with only one person to assist us, who was responsible for other properties. We had to walk a block with our three suitcases to the hotel after the check in. We had a lot of baggage because we were going on a 10 day cruise in 2 days. We had to walk up 3 floors, carrying our luggage as no elevator in building. No AC was on when we arrived to this very tiny room. No closet, no where but the bed to open luggage. The bathroom also tiny with one 10” wide sink, no counter or any hooks to hang anything. No hot water, which we reported and never got fixed. Situated in a run down area undergoing some renovations. The place was clean. Would never stay here again!

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the Urbana hotel. To start off (and most important to us)there is no consistent hot water unless the solar panels are heated up, if there are clouds in the forecast while your staying there, you can forget about being able to come in and take a long hot shower/bath after a day of activities. I understand that perhaps solar panels are more cost effective for the owners but this is so inconvenient and unreliable for guests. The beds are in bad shape and cave in at the middle. My wife and I wake up with back aches everyday since we’ve arrived. The hotel does not have a generator, and given the frequent power outages in Puerto Rico, this is a major inconvenience. As a business owner myself I cannot wrap my head around having my guests literally left in the dark/heat at their expense. And last but not least, the lack of amenities is also alarming. There is a mini fridge on the floor. They couldn’t even take the extra step to put it at a higher level! (God forbid someone had back issues, they would never be able to use the fridge.) and the toiletries provided are of the cheapest quality you can think of. definitely not what I expected for the price I paid. Overall, this hotel falls short of even basic hospitality expectations. I would not anyone recommend staying here! This review was done while in PR. BUT when we got home. My wife had mouse poop In her luggage.it was thrown out!!

We showered in cold/luke warm water even before the power outage occurred. The front desk was aware but kept blaming it on the solar power that powers the water heater is having issues, but the water temperature was cold from Dec 30-Jan 3rd. This is unacceptable.
