I had to give a low rating due to several issues. While the property is beautiful with a great bay view, gardens, and dining options, my stay was disappointing. After returning late, I found my room without power, while the rest of the hotel had electricity. The issue wasn't resolved until 1:30 am, when we were given a space heater, extension cord, camping light, and extra blankets for freezing temperatures. We had to stay in our van for hours as no nearby hotels had vacancies. The room was also unclean, with stained sheets, lumpy pillows, and a refrigerator in the bathroom next to the toilet. Despite booking a more expensive room with a view, I was moved to a cheaper, ā€œpet-friendlyā€ room without a price adjustment, though the pet fee was waived. Additionally, expired coupons were given inlieu of the ā€œbreakfast includedā€ and could not be honored by the coffee shop as they expired a few days before we even checked in. Staff were kind, but this hotel lacks proper protocols.

A magical Morro Bay option

What a special place next to Morro Bay with a view that will take your breath away the service was immaculate we had the room with a fireplace upstairs and I would definitely be back don't hesitate to book a room here

It was a beautiful location and the room was lovely. We loved the balcony and the view was esquisite. I loved the staff. They were all very helpful. Two things that would have made it all even better. The heating/AC unit seemed to go on even after we turned it down and it was super loud. It would also have been nice if there was an additional mirror outside of the bathroom.
